"So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army." (Ezek 37:10)

God has repeatedly revealed to us that there are horses in heaven. I ask you, are these horses wild or tame? What do you think? Let us draw upon a common mental picture most have of a wild horse. He is supreme and unquestioned leader of a large herd of very nervous mares. He is a majestic black or white (your choice) stallion mounted high atop the ridge of a rugged promontory in the badlands of the desert. His long mane snaps in the wind as he rapidly surveys his domain with flashing eyes. Neighing defiantly he rears up to full height on powerful back legs and paws at the air while his enraptured harem submissively mills about below. End of mental picture.

This horse is truly untamed. He is self-willed and unrestrained. He does whatever he wants whenever he wants. He is proud. He is unbroken. He is lawless. This horse is his own master. He is imperious, arrogant, vain, disdainful, and he exalts himself up upon the lofty crags. He is wild. Can this wild horse enter the Most Holy Place heaven? What do you think?

*Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; THAT WHERE I AM, THERE YE MAY BE ALSO. And whither I go ye know, AND THE WAY YE KNOW. (John 14:1-4)

How do you envision that the residents of heaven think and act? Heaven is God's home. Let us suppose that you suddenly had access to unlimited wealth and decided to build a brand new beautiful city of many mansions for yourself and your closest relatives, friends and neighbors with all of whom you share mutual love. The city has every conceivable luxury and is decorated with perfect carpets and perfect curtains, perfect furniture, buildings, streets, etc., etc. It is perfect. The people you invite to live with you in this city deeply love and respect you and each other. They are family. They are the joyful inhabitants of a glorious city without spot or wrinkle.

*And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for THE FORMER THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY. (Rev 21:4)

There is only joy, delight, exultation and rapture. Oneness is harmony in perfect accord. These are a blended perfectly balanced orchestra in timeless concert. Their song flows gently on and on as the never-ending outpouring of a great clear river of living waters. Glory to God in the Highest. Is there place here for the wild horse?

The prophet Elijah smote and divided the Jordan with his mantle. Elijah and Elisha then crossed the Jordan river on dry ground, and Elisha asked for a double portion (the eldest son's inheritance) of Elijah's spirit.

*And he [Elijah] said, Thou hast asked a hard thing [for yourself to bear]: nevertheless, IF THOU SEE ME WHEN I AM TAKEN FROM THEE [which requires spiritual eyes and thus a spiritual man], it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. And it came to pass, as they still went on [Elisha having proven his willingness to share and bear Elijah's Godly responsibility three times: Gilgal, Bethel, Jericho], and talked, that, behold, there APPEARED [sight] a CHARIOT OF FIRE, AND HORSES OF FIRE, and parted them both asunder [Heb 4:12, spirit and soul]; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. AND ELISHA SAW IT [spiritual sight], and he cried, MY FATHER, MY FATHER, THE CHARIOT OF ISRAEL, AND THE HORSEMEN THEREOF. And he SAW HIM no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent [Matt 27:50,51] them [fourth division in vss. 8-12] in two pieces [type of spirit and soul]. (II Kings 2:10-12)

Please note that the chariot and horses of fire that translated Elijah had no angelic driver at the reins. As Elijah was being translated by the whirlwind, Elisha declared: "My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof." This enigmatic declaration would not be addressed to an angel as a "father" for they are not. One possibility is that Elisha was addressing Father God the Creator and father Elijah who was Elisha's spiritual father (I Cor 4:15). Another possibility is that Elisha was addressing Enoch and Elijah. Both Enoch and Elijah were translated alive into heaven and both are of the Sons of God company. Elisha himself was addressed by Joash with the same enigmatic statement as he, Elisha, lay on his deathbed at the close of his ministry (II Kings 13:14). Therefore Elisha is also of the same company as Elijah, but he died. Who precisely is being addressed as "father, father" is a toss-up. But I believe that Elijah and later Elisha were included in the appellation: "and the horsemen thereof."

There were no angels present during Elijah's translation but there were horsemen and horses. Who are these horsemen? The denotation of "chariot of fire" indicates that the chariot is spiritual. It is further defined as "the chariot of Israel." Spiritual Israel. The chariot of spiritual Israel is empowered by horses of fire. God's Holiness is fire. Horses as agents provide the spiritual power to move the chariot. This chariot is the vehicle or vessel of Israel containing the people of Israel. That's us, all Christians. "The horsemen thereof" are men empowered with the spiritual power of horses. They are horse-men (Joel 2:4). Empowered men. The horse-men stand in the chariot of Israel "as one man" (Jud 6:16) and hold in their hands the reins of power. These are the Sons of God company (Isa 3:1-3; Heb 11:40; Rev 12:5; Rev 14:1) seen by the prophet Joel as the army of the Lord on the Day of Atonement. Please note in the following verses from Joel the number and emphasis of the words relating to fire. These horsemen are aflame.

*A FIRE DEVOURETH [Deut 4:24;9:3; Heb 12:29] before them; and behind them A FLAME BURNETH: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness [for they are afire and a fire of God's Holiness]; yea, and nothing shall escape them. THE APPEARANCE OF THEM IS AS THE APPEARANCE OF HORSES; AND AS HORSEMEN [fiery horse-men, empowered men], so shall they run [like racing flames]. Like the NOISE OF CHARIOTS [crackling flames] on the tops of mountains shall they leap [as fire leaps], LIKE THE NOISE OF A FLAME OF FIRE that devoureth the stubble, AS A STRONG PEOPLE SET IN BATTLE ARRAY. (Joel 2:3-5)

In Elisha's ministry the king of Syria sent out an army to capture Elisha in the city of Dothan. The Syrian army quietly encircled the city of Dothan at night. God sent an army of spiritual horses and chariots of fire that quietly encircled the Syrian army that same night.

*And when the servant of the man of God [Elisha] was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host [of Syria] compassed the city both with [natural] horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how [what] shall we do? And he answered, FEAR NOT: for they that be with us are MORE THAN they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, OPEN HIS [spiritual] EYES THAT HE MAY SEE [spiritual things]. And THE LORD OPENED THE [spiritual] EYES of the young man [that were closed in Gen 3:7]; and HE SAW [with spiritual sight]: and, behold, the mountain was FULL OF [spiritual] HORSES AND CHARIOTS OF FIRE round about Elisha. (II Kings 6:15-17)

These horses and chariots of fire had no described horsemen at the reins because "the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God." (Rom 8:19). The horsemen thereof were not then and are not yet made manifest.

The prophet Zechariah spoke with the angel of the Lord. He saw many horses that were sent by God to walk to and fro through the earth that they might report earthly conditions.

*I SAW [spiritual sight] by night, and behold a man [a possible theophany] riding upon a red HORSE, and he stood among the myrtle trees [Heb: peace and joy] that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red HORSES, speckled [horses], and white [horses]. Then said I, O my lord [master], what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be. And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD [Jehovah] hath sent to walk TO AND FRO through the earth. And they answered [who answered?] the angel of the LORD [Jehovah] that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, WE [who are they?] have walked TO AND FRO through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest. (Zech 1:8-11)

The man riding the red horse may have dismounted to speak for he is referred to three times (triune) as the man who "stood among the myrtle trees." Myrtle trees are symbols of peace and joy. This man could also be a theophany so designated by Zechariah's description: "And they answered the angel of the LORD [Jehovah] that stood among the myrtle trees." We see no reference to more than "a man" or one angel, but many horses. Who then are the undescribed "they" who answered the angel of the Lord among the myrtle trees "and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth..." and gave their report? The only "We" that are manifested are the horses. Why does God describe and therefore draw our attention to the horses and mention only one rider and he a probable theophany? The answer is that the riders of these horses who answered the angel of the Lord cannot be made manifest yet "that they without us should not be made perfect." (Heb 11:40).

When Elisha was surrounded in Dothan we saw "the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire" but angels or horsemen are conspicuously absent. We seem to be having lots and lots of apparently riderless horses and driverless chariots, but some speak. Zechariah now hears "they" who "have walked to and fro through the earth" verbally respond to the angel of the Lord. They responded to the angel of the Lord who was a spirit and probably the Spirit. Spirit to Spirit. They did not communicate with Zechariah who was a man (soulical). What does all this mean? Well, disallowing Mr. Ed, I'm not sure. However, the "to and fro" action of these verses matches the "to and fro" of the Lord God's army in Joel 2:4 who had "the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run."

*They shall run TO AND FRO in the city [Babylon]; they shall run upon the wall [like fire], they shall climb up upon the houses [like fire]; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief [fire that steals your stuff]. (Joel 2:9)

In another vision Zechariah heard one angel and saw many horses. The horses are again focused upon but no angelic riders are mentioned. Let us look at that passage:

*AND I TURNED, AND LIFTED UP MINE EYES, AND LOOKED [spiritual sight], and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains [division of power]; and the mountains were mountains of brass [judgment]. In the first chariot were red HORSES; and in the second chariot black HORSES; And in the third chariot white HORSES; and in the fourth chariot grisled [dappled] and bay HORSES. Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me [Spirit to spirit], What are these, my lord? And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens [plural: three heavens], WHICH GO FORTH FROM STANDING BEFORE THE LORD OF ALL THE EARTH [very doubtful that this reference is to horses standing before God awaiting orders]. The black HORSES which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white [horses] go forth after them; and the grisled [horses] go forth toward the south country. And the bay [horses] went forth, and sought to go that they might walk TO AND FRO THROUGH THE EARTH: and he [the angel] said [to the horses?], Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. Then he cried upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these [horses/horsemen] that go toward the north country have quieted [Heb: rested, settled down] my spirit in the north country. (Zech 6:1-8)

After describing the horses, Zechariah asks the angel: "What are these, my lord?" We note that he did not ask "who are these" but "what are these." A "who" is directed toward a person, angel, or God whereas a "what" is directed toward an object or creature. The angel responded: "These are the four spirits of the heavens." Please note that these four spirits were seen and symbolized (natural and spiritual) as horses. They have no visible riders. Yet, they are empowered to effect change for they "have quieted my spirit in the north country." I believe that the riderless horses and empty chariots that we have repeatedly seen through a glass darkly are waiting along with all creation for the spiritual and experiential manifestation of the Sons of God. These horses and chariots have horsemen but we cannot yet see them. They are not yet made manifest. However, in the millennium we will be given "much more than" the light we now have:

*Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be SEVENFOLD [complete Light], as the light of seven days [fullness: I Cor 13:12], in the day [of Atonement] that the LORD bindeth up the breach [Amos 9:11] of his people, and healeth THE [sword] STROKE OF THEIR [Gen 3:7, opened] WOUND [Rev 13:14, which had the wound by a sword, and did live]. (Isa 30:26)

*But he [the king] shall not MULTIPLY HORSES [power] to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should MULTIPLY HORSES: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth RETURN NO MORE THAT WAY. (Deut 17:16)

"Return no more" what way? Natural power. Horses were a symbol of power and strength in biblical times. The Lamb of God entered Jerusalem on an ass (Matt 21:7). The Lion of Judah will enter Jerusalem on a white horse (Rev 19:11). I believe the children of Israel had to grow up into the men of Israel before God would allow them access to spiritual power. This extremely wise growth principal continues to apply to us today. Lest, of course, one would think himself better than David. This power which is the fullness of the Holy Spirit was first secured by the matured King David:

*And after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them [as wild horses]: and David took METHEGAMMAH out of the HANDS of the Philistines. (II Sam 8:1)

Methegammah in Hebrew means "the bridle of a cubit, the bridle reins of the mother city, the bridle of bondage." We speak now of power and horses and horsemen. Please recall that a cubit is essentially undefinable. Methegammah was the mother city of the Philistines who at that time reigned over Israel. David "took Methegammah [the reins of the bridle] out of the hands of the Philistines." David immediately began to wield the power of the reins as he smote the Moabites and then took horses from the king of Zobah "for an hundred chariots." (II Sam 8:4). From that time, horses began to proliferate in Israel. King Solomon had approximately 14,000 horses (I Kings 10:26) and thousands of stables built all over Israel. Of course, king Solomon is an example of the misuse of the power of the Holy Spirit. King David is our millennia king, not king Solomon.

Luke records the manger from three different witnesses: himself as narrator, the angel of the Lord who has the Shekinah glory and is therefore God, and the shepherds.

*And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him IN A MANGER [God the Father]; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country SHEPHERDS abiding in the field, KEEPING WATCH over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the [Shekinah] glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, FEAR NOT: for, behold, I BRING YOU GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY [Gr: cheerfulness, delight (Heb: Eden)], which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in THE CITY OF DAVID a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, LYING IN A MANGER [God the Son]. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe LYING IN A MANGER [God the Holy Ghost]. (Luke 2:7-16)

In addition to the triune power references of manger, we note that Jesus was born in "the city of David" now called Bethlehem which is where David was born. However, mount Zion is also named the city of David. The city of David is the name given to Jebus or Zion which was the fortified city of the Jebusites after its capture by David's army (II Sam 5:7).

*For unto you is BORN this day IN THE CITY OF DAVID a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:11)

*AFTER THIS I WILL RETURN, and will BUILD AGAIN the tabernacle [body] of David, which is fallen down; and I will BUILD AGAIN the ruins thereof, AND I WILL SET IT UP [Rev 14:1, on mount Sion, the city of David]: THAT THE RESIDUE OF MEN MIGHT SEEK AFTER THE LORD, and all the Gentiles [unbelievers], UPON WHOM MY NAME IS CALLED, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. (Acts 15:16,17)

*And she brought forth [Mary did, and the tabernacle church (Rev 12:1,2) is bringing forth to fulfill this prophecy] a [corporate: Jesus was corporate: Father, Son, Holy Ghost, Adam] man child, who was [and is] to rule all nations with a rod of iron [Rev 2:27; Isa 16:5, Holy Spirit in judgment]: and her child was CAUGHT UP [spiritually enraptured] unto God, and to his throne. (Rev 12:5)

*And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion [the city of David], and with him an hundred and forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in [inside: the full mind of Christ] their foreheads. (Rev 14:1)

*And SAVIOURS [plural: Rev 14:1] shall come up on mount Zion [the city of David] TO JUDGE the mount of Esau [flesh]; AND THE KINGDOM SHALL BE THE LORD'S. (Obad 21)

*AND I SAW [with spiritual eyes] when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts [creatures] saying, COME AND SEE. AND I SAW, and behold a white HORSE [strong delusion: II Thess 2:11]: and he [antichrist in counterfeit of Christ Jesus and Rev 19:11-13] that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him [to antichrist Rev 13:2, by Satan]: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, COME AND SEE. And there went out another HORSE [sword: war] that was red: and power was given to him [from antichrist who wears the crown] that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him A GREAT SWORD. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, COME AND SEE. AND I BEHELD, and lo a black HORSE [famine]; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances [scales] in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny [a day's wages], and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not [take not of] the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, COME AND SEE. AND I LOOKED, and behold a pale [Gr: green] HORSE [pestilence: disease: AIDES]: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him [Hell always rides with (follows) death for the unbeliever]. And power was given unto them [the latter three horses of war, famine and pestilence by the first horse of strong delusion] over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword [war], and with hunger [famine], and with death [pestilence], and with the [wild, untamed] beasts [Gr: dangerous animals: (wild natural men)] of the earth. (Rev 6:1-8)

The season of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is upon us. The counterfeit body of Christ Jesus in form of the corporate antichrist is now being empowered and is confidently standing upon this earth in bold defiance of God. The giant Goliath, his wound by a sword healed, has risen from the dust as a malevolent bear. He approaches God's army like a raging lion.

***Lo Goliath, rage on for yet a while. Rage on at the courtyard army of God while yet you can, for God is raising up again the tabernacle of David atop mount Zion. And Glory to Himself.***

The false prophet (Rev 13:11-17) comes before Goliath bearing the shield (I Sam 17:41). The false prophet is corporate and acts as a buffer between the people and Goliath (antichrist). A shield both hides from view and protects. A shield is also an ensign or badge of identification. The corporate man who bears the shield of antichrist is the television and computer visual media of the air waves of which Satan is prince (Eph 2:2). By this means the media will deceive all with strong delusion that dwell on the earth and walk by sight with great wonders and miracles and images and speaking. Spiritual warfare is fought in the mind, for the mind. The enemy enters through the eye and ear gates.

*And I beheld another beast [false prophet: I Sam 17:41; Rev 16:13;19:20;20:10] coming up out of the earth [born of Adam]; and he had two horns [of great power: television and computers] like [appearing as] a lamb [innocent], and he spake as a dragon [Rev 20:2]. And he EXERCISETH [focused, focused, focused] ALL THE [accumulated] POWER [of modern civilization from Genesis] of the first beast [antichrist: natural men] before [previous to] him [many antichrists exist now and existed before television and computers: I John 2:18], and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein [excluding Christians: John 17:16] to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound [by David: I Sam 17:51] was healed. And he doeth great wonders [Matt 24:24], so that he maketh fire come down [seemingly on television and computer] from heaven on the earth IN THE SIGHT OF [natural] MEN, And DECEIVETH them that dwell on the earth [who do not keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ: Rev 12:17] by the [visible] means of those [seeming] miracles [to those walking by sight] which he had power to do IN THE SIGHT OF THE BEAST [the antichrist beast body members will see and believe the miracles]; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an IMAGE [Greek: icon; visible on television and computers] to the beast [spirit of antichrist], which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he [the false prophet] had power [through television and computers] TO GIVE LIFE UNTO THE IMAGE of the beast, that the image of the beast [head representative: as in president, prime minister, king, emperor, of a unified body, group, organization, government] should both SPEAK, and cause [order] that as many as would not worship [join with] the [new world order of the] image of the beast should be killed. And he [the speaking image and head representative of the beast body] causeth [orders] all, both small and great [Gen 19:11, the blinded], rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in [inside] their right hand [work of the beast], or in [inside] their foreheads [mind of the beast]: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that HAD the mark [physical: in body], or [had] the name of the beast [soulical: mentally and publicly identifies with an antichrist group or bundle], or [had] the number of his name [spiritually: permeating himself]. Here is WISDOM. Let him that hath UNDERSTANDING count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man [6]; and his [that man's] number is Six hundred threescore and six [666]. (Rev 13:11-18)

The corporate beast named antichrist acts "as one man" (Jud 6:16) in counterfeit of the corporate Sons of God body of Christ. The "number of the beast" is six, six, six. "It is the number of a man" without God. A man is spirit, soul, and body (I Thess 5:23). The spirit of a man which is fully without God is therefore fully of the man himself, thus, 6. The soul of a man which is fully without God is therefore fully of the man himself, thus, 6. The body of a man which is fully without God is therefore fully of the man himself, thus, 6. To have "the number of his name" in the sense of possessing it is to BE the number of his name: to be totally full of him; to be totally like him. Satan counterfeits the fullness of the Holy Spirit with the fullness of himself: 666. Satan is imitating the body of Christ 777 Sons of God company with the body of antichrist 666 sons of Belial company. In the very next verse following the 666 revelation, we are officially introduced by God to the firstfruits 777 Sons of God body, the renewed tabernacle of David:

*And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in [inside] their foreheads [full mind of Christ]. (Rev 14:1)

*AND I SAW HEAVEN OPENED, AND BEHOLD A WHITE HORSE; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew [Rev 2:17], but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven [Heb 11:40 with us made perfect (whole) on Zion, and the angels] followed him upon white HORSES, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword [Heb 4:12; Rev 1:16 two-edged: Old Testament and New Testament], that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Rev 19:11-16)

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
