The depth of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrine

(John 1:14) And the Word [Gk: logos] [of God, the Bible] was made flesh [in Jesus Christ], and dwelt [lived] among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

  1. (Heb 4:12) For the word [Gk: logos] of God [the Bible, Jesus Christ] is quick [Gk: alive], and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword [logos/rhema], piercing [Gk: penetrating] even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner [Gk: decisive, discriminative /// judge] of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(John 14:26) But the Comforter [Gk: intercessor, consoler: advocate] [“Counselor, Helper, Strengthener” Amplif.], which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance [“He will cause you to recall – will remind you of” Amplif.], whatsoever I have [already] said unto you [i.e., the logos Word of God, the Bible].

  1. (John 16:7) Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient [Gk: advantageous: better, good, profitable] for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

  2. (Luke 23:46) And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost [Mark 14:37,39; John 19:30].

(1 Cor 2:12-15) Now we [the redeemed] have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know [Gk: perceive, understand] the things that are freely given to us of God [“God is a Spirit” John 4:24]. Which things also we speak, not in the words [Gk: logos] which man's wisdom teacheth, but [the rhema] which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing [Gk: judging] spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man [the beast nature] receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness [Gk: silliness, absurdity] unto him: neither can he know [Gk: perceive, understand] them, because they are spiritually discerned [necessitating opened spiritual eyes]. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things [with his opened spiritual eyes], yet he himself is judged of no man [who has only natural beast nature eyes].

  1. (Eccl 3:18) I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them [make apparent to them], and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

JESUS CHRIST DECLARES THAT HE IS THAT BREAD OF LIFE

(John 6:47-58) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life [the Word of God, the logos Bible, and the rhema Holy Spirit]. Your fathers did eat manna [bread from heaven, the logos Word of God, but with no ‘released’ (not a perfectly correct descriptive word of “send” John 16:7) genuine eternally permanent atoning rhema blood] in the wilderness [Gk: lonesome, waste: desert, desolate, solitary] [i.e., without the internal “Comforter” of the Holy Spirit], and are dead. This [my body] is the bread [the Word of God, the logos Bible and the rhema Holy Spirit] which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die [have everlasting life]. I am the living bread [the Word of God, the logos Bible, and the rhema Holy Spirit] which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread [the Word of God, the logos Bible, and the rhema Holy Spirit], he shall live for ever [have everlasting life]: and the bread [the Word of God, the logos Bible, and the rhema Holy Spirit] that I will give is my flesh [the Word of God, the Bible], which I will give [as the eternal atonement] for the life of the world [for everybody in the world]. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh [the Word of God, the logos Bible] of the Son of man, and drink his blood [the rhema Holy Spirit], ye have no life in you [ye shall die everlasting]. Whoso eateth my flesh [the Word of God, the logos Bible], and drinketh my blood [the rhema Holy Spirit], hath eternal life; and I will raise him up [resurrect/rapture] at the last day. For my flesh [the Word of God, the logos Bible] is meat [Gk: food] [logos] indeed, and my blood [rhema] is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh [the Word of God, the logos Bible], and drinketh my blood [the rhema Holy Spirit], dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me [the Word of God, the logos Bible, and the rhema Holy Spirit], even he shall live by me. This is that bread [the Word of God, the logos Bible, and the rhema Holy Spirit] which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna [the logos, the Word of God without my ‘released’ blood, the rhema Holy Spirit], and are dead: he that eateth of this bread [the Word of God, the logos Bible, and the rhema Holy Spirit] shall live for ever.

MANNA IS THE ARCHETYPE OF THE WORD OF GOD, THE BIBLE

(Exo 16:11-15) And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I have heard the murmurings [Heb: obstinacy; grumbling /// complaining] of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God. And it came to pass, that at even the quails [symbolic of gratifying their lusts of this world (Num 11:31-34)] came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host. And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost [Heb: a white frost] on the ground. And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna [Heb: whatness; what is it?]: for they wist [Heb: perceived, understood] not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

GOD COMMANDS WHEN AND HOW YOU ARE TO READ YOUR BIBLE

(Exo 16:16-20) This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer [about a tenth of a bushel] for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents. And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less. And when they did mete it [Heb: measure it] with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning [till the morning of next day]. Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning [of the next day], and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth [Heb: be very angry: rage] with them.

(Exo 16:21-27) And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted. And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe [Heb: boil] that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein. And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field. Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it [the field] there shall be none. And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.

(Exo 16:28-31) And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye [Heb: x utterly] to keep my commandments and my laws? See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. So the people rested on the seventh day. And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

(Exo 16:32-36) And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness [first we receive the logos, are redeemed, and then the rhema], when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt. And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot [“the golden pot that had manna” Heb 9:4], and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations [in the Ark of Covenant]. As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept. And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan. Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah [about a bushel].

  1. (Joshua 4:22,23) Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land. For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:

  2. (Joshua 5:10-12) And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal [Heb: wheel], and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho. And they did eat of the old corn [Heb: stored corn] of the [Promised] land on the morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day. And the manna [Heb: a whatness; What is it?] [the logos Word of God, the seed of God] ceased [Heb: to repose, to desist from exertion] on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn [Heb: the stored corn] of the [Promised] land; neither had the children of Israel manna [logos (seed)] any more; but they did eat of the fruit [the rhema Word of God] of the land of Canaan that year.
