The depth of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrine.
A PICTURE OF HEAVEN AND HELL
(Exo 27:1-8) And thou shalt make an altar of shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits. And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass [Heb: filthiness] [i.e., sin]. And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass. And thou shalt make for it a grate of network of brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen [Heb: brass] rings in the four corners thereof. And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar. And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with brass. And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it. Hollow with boards shalt thou make it [the brazen altar of sacrifice]: as it was shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.
shittim wood = Heb: the acacia (from its scourging thorns) tree /// to pierce; to flog, a goad.
brass = Heb: filthiness. [a strong symbol of sin]
FORTY-EIGHT PRIEST BOARDS SERVE THE TABERNACLE (Heb: tent)
(Exo 26:15-25) And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up. Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board. Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle. And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward. And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver [the metal symbolizing redemption, salvation] under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons. And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards: And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board. (Exo 26:22) And for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards. And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides. And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners. And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
Commentary: “tenons” = two round prongs carved at the bottom of each shittim wood board shaped like the rounded prongs of an electrical plug.
“for the sides of the tabernacle westward” = Heb: properly the flank /// to be soft; the thigh (from its fleshly softness); by euphemism the generative parts: thigh.
Commentary: “for the sides of the tabernacle westward” (Exo 26:22) = Of all the Bibles in the world, only in the KJV will you find this phraseology. Other unique KJV references to this particular part of the tabernacle are “the two sides westward” found in (Exo 26:27) and in (Ezek 46:19), the latter referring to the Holy Oblation which is an extended type and shadow of the Tabernacle. (Exo 36:27,32) are two more instances of changing this phrase slightly but with the same body parts objective. The meaning of this phrase is uncomprehended throughout all Judaism and Christendom, a phrase that euphemistically refers to The Lord Jesus Christ’s generative parts.
Commentary: Summation = 48 shittim boards standing up that have 96 tenons (two feet for each board) for their 96 silver sockets (two shoes of redemption to stand in for each board).
(Num 35:6,7) And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites [Heb: attached] there shall be six cities for refuge [Heb: asylum], which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs.
(Num 35:14) Ye shall give [to the Levites] three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.
Commentary: Thus, “the two sides westward” are figuratively separated by the river Jordan, the river of life. Picture that in the middle of the generative parts. What see you?
THE TABERNACLE IS A COVERING
(Exo 26:1-6) Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen [Heb: white], and blue, and purple, and scarlet [i.e., four colors]: with cherubims [angels] of cunning work shalt thou make them. The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure. The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five [identical] curtains shall be coupled one to another. And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make [loops of blue] in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second. Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another. And thou shalt make fifty taches [couplings, attachments] of gold [symbol of the purity of God, therefore a symbol of love], and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
tabernacle = Heb: a residence (a shepherd’s hut, the lair of animals, fig. the grave; the Temple: tent.
Commentary: the Tabernacle is composed of five curtains coupled to five curtains equaling ten curtains, each set of five curtains having four colors. Therefore, one color must be used twice in each set of five curtains. Suggestion: blue (all encompassing heaven) and purple (kingship and royalty) and scarlet (red, for the blood) and white (for innocence and purity) and blue (all encompassing heaven). One set of five curtains would be blue, purple, scarlet, white, blue with the adjoining set of five curtains coupled together with “loops of blue” to blue, purple, scarlet, white, blue.
THE TABERNACLE (TEN CURTAINS REPRESENTING JESUS CHRIST) IS A COVERING
WHO BEARS THREE MORE COVERINGS ON HIS BACK
1. A COVERING OF CURTAINS OF GOATS’ HAIR
(ROUGH, PRICKLY, BLACK: SYMBOLIC OF RESISTANCE, REBELLION, AND SIN)
(Exo 26:7-13) And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make. The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure. And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle. And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second. And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass [Heb: filthiness] [sin], and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one. And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle. And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it [i.e., the tabernacle].
2. A COVERING OF RAMS’ SKINS DYED RED
SYMBOLIZING THE COVERING SUBSTITUTIONARY BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
TO COVER THE GOATS’ HAIR (SIN)
&
3. A COVERING OF BADGERS’ SKINS
(AN UNKNOWN SYMBOL, ALMOST CERTAINLY SYMBOLIZING HEAVEN)
(Gen 22:13) And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
(Exo 26:14) And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.
Amen
