The depth of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrine.
The abomination of desolation is scheduled to appear November 2016
THE CURSE
(Gen 3:14,15) And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity [Heb: hostility: hatred] between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
serpent = Heb: a snake (from its hiss) /// to hiss, whisper a (magic) spell: - X certainly, enchanter.
(Gen 3:16) Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow [Heb: labor or pain] and thy conception [Heb: pregnancy]; in sorrow [Heb: (painful) toil] thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [Heb: stretching out after, longing for] shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
rule = to rule: - (have, make to have) dominion, governor, X indeed, reign, (have) rule, have power.
(Gen 3:17,18) And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened [Heb: to hear intelligently with obedience] unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow [Heb: in labor or pain] shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns [Heb: in the sense of pricking] also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
AN AMPLIFIED EXPLANATION OF THE CURSE BY THE APOSTLE PAUL
(1 Tim 2:11-15) Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection [Gk: subordinance /// obedience]. But I suffer [Gk: allow /// permit] not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over [Gk: dominate] the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression [Gk: violation /// braking]. Notwithstanding she shall be saved [Gk: sos; delivered: preserved, made whole] in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity [Gk: love] and holiness [Gk: purity] with sobriety [Gk: soundness of mind, sanity, self control].
(1 Peter 3:7) Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered [Gk: frustrated: cut down (off, out), hewn down].
THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION MENTIONED TOGETHER
WITH GREAT TRIBULATION IN THE SAME PASSAGE
(Mat 24:14-22) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation [this designation appears once in the Bible, but this verse is repeated in Mark 13:14], spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place [permissible for priests only], (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation [1st Bible mention], such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
(1 Kings 19:1-4) And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the [850] prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time. And when he saw [heard and understood] that, he arose [hastily], and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there. But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.
JEZEBEL (A TYPE AND SHADOW OF THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION) MENTIONED TOGETHER
WITH GREAT TRIBULATION IN THE SAME PASSAGE
(Rev 2:20-23) Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel [the only instance of her name being mentioned in the New Testament], which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation [2nd Bible mention], except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death [the fourth seal “a pale horse” Rev 6:7,8]; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
THE THIRD AND LAST MENTION OF “GREAT TRIBULATION” IN THE BIBLE
TOGETHER
WITH AN ALLUSION TO THE 5TH SEAL
(Rev 6:9-11) And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth [during “the sixth seal” Rev 6:12-17]? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them [the fifth seal folks], that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled [so, all or some of us are still here during the fifth seal]. (Rev 6:12) And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal [initiating the Lord’s second coming and the “rapture”], and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
(Rev 7:13,14) And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they [from the fifth seal: Rev 6:9-11; 7:9-17]? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out [past tense, rather than “are coming out”] of great tribulation [3rd and last Bible mention], and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
TRIBULATION
Commentary: so there came “a little cloud (of judgment)… out of the sea (of humanity), like a man’s hand (the Hand Ministry: 1 Sam 17:40; Isa 3:1-3; Eph 4:11,12) “and there was a great rain” (1 Kings 18:44,45) ending the first “three years and six months” of “great famine” (Luke 4:25), which represents the first 3 ½ years of tribulation, encompassing in the eyes “Come and see” (Rev 6:1,3,5,7) of unsaved men, the 1st seal (The Feast of Passover) and the 2nd seal (The Feast of Unleavened Bread) and the 3rd seal (The Feast of Firstfruits) and part of the 4th seal (The Feast of Pentecost).
GREAT TRIBULATION
Commentary: The soon to commence great tribulation encompasses part of the 4th seal (The feast of Pentecost) and all of the 5th seal (the Feast of Trumpets) and all of the 6th seal (the Feast of Atonement), and perhaps all of the 7th seal (The Feast of Tabernacles, and God’s wrath upon the unsaved) by initiating the Lord’s second coming, the rapture, and the Millennium, and that is what 1 Kings chapters 17 and 18 and 19 is prophetically telling us, and warning us. The warning: Jezebel is coming.
Amen
Ps. Additionally, please note the chronological order of events (Matt 24:15,21,29), and let us not forget the spiritual (Rev 17) and secular (Rev 18) aspects of the abomination of desolation that are applied to the woman.
(Rev 17:5) And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
