12-17-23 God is Thought. THIS PRESENT DARKNESS AND THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE

(Dan 7:25) And he [the chief human  antichrist (against Christ); the head of the spiritual body of all non-believers (all antichrists) inhabited by Legion’s boss-of-bosses “for we are many” Mark 5:9] shall speak great words [“strong delusion” 2 Thes 2:11; propaganda, strong lies, blasphemy] against the most High [God] [i.e., against “the truth” John 14:6], and shall wear out [Heb: afflict] [exceedingly trouble] the saints [“to make war with the saints, and to overcome them” Rev 13:7] of the most High, and think to change [Heb: alter] times and laws: and they [the saints] shall be given into his [the Antichrist’s] hand [Heb: power] until a time and times and the dividing of time [3 ½ years] [1].

1.    Commentary: “until” = 3 ½ years of Great Tribulation begins, being initiated by worldwide nuclear war (being initiated by unimaginable fire “For our God is a consuming fire” (Heb: 12:29), before which or immediately as, our spirit, i.e., those composited (fused together) God Thoughts (2 Cor 10:5) which are alive “quick” (Heb: 4:12) and active within us shall be raptured up “and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it” (Eccl 12:7) “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye” (1 Cor 15:52).

a.     rapture: Dict.: = 1. the state of being carried away with joy, love, etc.; ecstasy. 2. an expression of great joy, pleasure, etc. 3. a carrying away or being carried away in body or spirit, full ecstasy.

                                                             i.      ecstasy: Dict.: = great delight.

MICHAEL

(Dan 12:1-3) And at that time [of the onset of worldwide nuclear war] shall Michael [the archangel (chief angel)] stand up [take authorized action], the great prince which standeth for [represents, on behalf of all] the children of thy people [all redeemed saints]: and there shall be a time of trouble [Heb: tightness: adversity, affliction, anguish, distress, tribulation /// a narrow tight place, an opponent (as crowding), an enemy], such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time [of the onset of worldwide nuclear war] thy people shall be delivered [Heb: escape, be rescued, emit sparks: be saved] [be raptured], every one that shall be found written in the book [of Life]. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame [Heb: disgrace] and everlasting contempt [Heb: repulsiveness; aversion: abhorring]. And they that be wise [1] shall shine [Heb: gleam; fig. to enlighten: admonish, teach, give warning] as the brightness [Heb: brilliancy] of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness [i.e., win many souls to Christ] as the stars [2] for ever and ever [i.e., eternally].

1.    that be wise = Heb: be intelligent: consider, instruct, prosper, are prudent, skillful [in the Word of God], have good success, teach, make to understand, have wisdom, guide wittingly.

a.     Commentary: they that be rational, be logical (logos = structured, controlled thought) versus emotional (chaos = confusion, thought in disarray), be “in his right mind” Mark 5:15; Luke 8:35.

2.    as the stars = Heb: (in the sense of blazing) /// properly to penetrate [i.e., with rays of light, with revelations]; hence to blister (as smarting or eating into): burn.

THE BEAST (ANTICHRIST)

(Rev 13:1-3) And I [John] stood upon the sand [the saved (separated), redeemed us] of the sea [of unsaved humanity], and saw a beast [1] rise up [be elected] out of the sea [of unsaved humanity], having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy [2]. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard [swift], and his feet were as the feet of a bear [crushing], and his mouth as the mouth of a lion [roaring] [“strong delusion” (2 Thes 2:11), propaganda, strong lies]: and the dragon [“Satan” Rev 12:9; 20:2, “the god (supreme ruler) of this world” 2 Cor 4:4] gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority [altogether the power, the seat, and great authority of the President (i.e., worldwide power, but not necessarily of this President]. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death [i.e., he lost “his seat”]; and his deadly wound was healed [i.e., he regained “his seat”] [(two persons come to mind)]: and all the world wondered [Gk: to admire: held in admiration, marveled] after the beast.

1.    beast = Gk: a dangerous animal: (venomous, wild) beast // a wild animal, hunting, fig. destruction: to trap.

a.     (Eccl 3:18) I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest [make apparent to] them, and that they might see [understand] that they themselves are beasts.

2.    blasphemy = Gk: vilification (espec. against God): evil speaking, railing /// specif. impious.

(Rev 13:4,5) And they [the sea of unsaved humanity] worshipped the dragon [“Satan” (Rev 12:9; 20:2)] which gave power [Gk: (in the sense of ability); privilege, force, mastery, control, delegated influence: authority, jurisdiction /// out in public] [i.e., voiced unlawful commands] unto the beast [unto the human beast(s)]: and they [the sea of unsaved humanity] worshipped the beast [i.e., worshipped Satan’s human puppet (instrument, tool)], saying [of the beast, as they said of Goliath, the archetype of the beast], Who is like [Gk: similar (in appearance or character)] unto the beast? who is able [Gk: to be possible] to make war [Gk: to be (engaged) in warfare, to battle: fight] with him? And there was given unto him [unto the beast puppet] a mouth [“as the mouth of a lion” Rev 13:2] speaking great things [“great words” (Dan 7:25)] and blasphemies [Dan 7:25]; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months [3 ½ years (Dan 7:25)].

(Rev 13:6-8) And he [the beast, antichrist(s)] opened his mouth [roared] in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his [God’s] name [Gk: a “name” (authority or character)], and his tabernacle [the archetype of Jesus Christ], and them [the holy angels] that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them [to “wear out the saints” Dan 7:25]: and power was given him [from Satan] over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations [i.e., definitely the Great Tribulation]. And all that [still] dwell [un-raptured] upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life [i.e., the book of the saved, redeemed] of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

(Rev 13:9,10) If any man have an ear [Gk: the ear (mentally)], let him hear [Gk: understand]. He that leadeth into captivity [Gk: (takes) prisoners /// captures] [by Satan and his spirits (fallen angels inhabiting the beast(s), i.e., Satan’s antichrist(s)] shall go into captivity [Gk: (be themselves taken) prisoner /// be captured] [by Christ] [1]: he that killeth with the sword [with the words of man] must be killed with the sword [with the Words of God (Eph 6:17; Rev 19:15)]. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

1.    (2 Cor 10:5) Casting down imaginations [Gk: conceit: (prideful) thoughts], and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought [every spirit] to the obedience [Gk: attentive hearkening, compliance] of Christ[l1] ;
