BE NOT DECEIVED

11-26-23 God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations
depends upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks, our Godly
thoughts laid one upon another, ascending into the mind of Christ. Thought
is a manifestation of “energy” (electricity analogy). These study notes are archived at

BE NOT DECEIVED ABOUT
JESUS CHRIST
(1 John 1:1-4) That which was from
the beginning [of creation], which we have heard, which we have
seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have
handled [Gk: touched], of the Word [Gk: logos]
[i.e., the seed (the Bible)] [1] of life [an eternal life of joy with Father God]; (For the life was
manifested [2], and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto
you that eternal life, which was with the
Father, and was manifested [“demonstrated” Amplif. Bible] unto us;)
That [manifestation] which we have seen
and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may
have fellowship with us: and truly our
fellowship is with the Father, and with
his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you,
that your joy may
be full.
1.
(Luke
8:11) Now the parable
is this: The seed is the word [Gk: logos] of God.
a.
(John
1:14) And the Word [Gk: logos] [the seed (the Bible)] was
made flesh [in Jesus Christ, i.e., as
the Bible],
and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten [seed]
of the Father,) full of grace and truth. [He appeared in the flesh, and spoke
in the Spirit]
2.
manifested
= Gk: rendered apparent, appeared,
declared /// shined.
BE NOT DECEIVED ABOUT HIS MESSAGE
(1 John 1:5-7)
This then is the message which we have heard
of him, and declare unto you, that God is light [1], and in him is no darkness [2] at all. If we say that we have
fellowship with him [with
Jesus Christ],
and walk in darkness [of this world], we lie, and do not the
truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is
in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth [3] us from all sin.
1.
light
= Gk: to shine or make manifest, esp. by rays; luminousness: fire ///
to show or make known one’s thoughts, speak. [i.e., rays = revelations]
a.
light
= Heb: illumination (in every sense, including happiness)
/// set on fire, shine.
2.
darkness
= Gk: dimness, obscurity /// shadiness /// darkness of
error: shadow.
a.
darkness
= Heb: the dark; fig. misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness.
3.
cleanse
= Gk: to cleanse: cleans, purges, purifies.
BE NOT DECEIVED ABOUT HIS
WARNING
(1 John 1:8-10) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive [1] ourselves,
and the truth is
not in us. If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word [Gk: logos] [seed] is not in us.
1.
deceive = Gk: to roam (from safety,
truth, or virtue): go astray, err, (be) seduced, wander, be out of the way ///
straying from orthodoxy or piety: delusion, error.
(Luke 21:8,9)
And he [Jesus
Christ]
said, Take heed [Gk: beware] that ye be
not deceived: for many [false prophets] shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ
[Gk: anointed];
and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore
after them. But when ye shall hear of wars [(plural)] and commotions [Gk: instability, disorder:
confusion, tumult],
be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass;
but the end is not by and by.
1.
(2 Tim 3:12,13) Yea, and all that will live godly
in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil
men and seducers shall wax worse and worse,
deceiving, and being deceived.
2.
(James 1:21,22) Wherefore lay apart [from yourself] all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted
[Gk: implanted /// to puff or
blow, germinate] word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers
of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your
own selves.
Amen
