THE FIRST RESURRECTION, a.k.a. THE RAPTURE

will occur in the spirit via thermo-nuclear war, i.e., via a consuming fire in the flesh

11-12-23 God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks, our Godly thoughts laid  one upon another, ascending into the mind of Christ. Thought is a manifestation of “energy” (electricity analogy). These study notes are archived at tabernacleofmoses.org.

(Heb 12:29) For our God is a consuming [Gk: to consume utterly] fire.

WE MAY BECOME FAITHFUL MARTYRS

(Rev 6:9-11) And when he [Jesus Christ] had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed [Gk: put to death] as they were, should be fulfilled.

(Rev 7:13-17) And one of the elders answered, saying unto me [in John’s “vision” of Heaven], What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence [from where] came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation [CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION] [Gk: pressure: affliction, burdened, persecution, trouble], and have washed their robes, and made them white [innocent] in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple [Rev 3:12]: and he [God] that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them [Rev 21:3]. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters [i.e., revelations]: and God shall wipe away all tears [unlike Lot’s wife who “looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt”] [1] from their eyes.

1.    (Gen 19:24-26) Then the LORD rained [“a consuming fire”] upon Sodom [the archetype of false doctrines] and upon Gomorrah [Heb: to gather grain, bind sheaves, make merchandise of] [the archetype of false works] brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. But his [Lot’s] wife [(in context) a “disobedient” Lesbian] looked back [longingly, to her loving friends in Sodom] from behind him [a], and she became a pillar of salt [Heb: powder (as easily pulverized and dissolved) /// to disappear as dust].

a.     (Gen 19:17) And it came to pass, when they [the two angels] had brought them [Lot’s family] forth abroad, that he [the lead angel] said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

THE FIRST RESURRECTION

(THIS IS WHAT WILL SOON HAPPEN)

(Rev 20:1-3) And I saw an angel [only Jesus Christ has these powers] come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit [Gk: depthless, (infernal) “abyss”] [1] and a great chain [Gk: a fetter or manacle] in his hand [Gk: power] [“like a man’s hand” 1 Kings 18:44; ref. to Jesus Christ and “The Hand Ministry” Eph 4:10-13]. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up [i.e., no talking], and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till [Gk: until] the thousand years should be fulfilled [Gk: ended, completed]: and after that [after the thousand year fulfilment (Dan 12:11)] [2] he [Lucifer-Satan] must be loosed a little season [i.e., for 45 more days (Dan 12:12), for the “great white throne” judgment] [3].

1.    Webster’s New World Dictionary: “abyss” = 1. a deep fissure in the earth; bottomless gulf; chasm. 2. anything too deep for measurement; profound depth (abyss of shame, of time, etc.). 3. the ocean depths. 4. Theol. the primeval void or chaos before the Creation.

a.     Commentary: The content of the abyss isdarkness.”

b.    (Gen 1:2a) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [Heb: the dark; fig. misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness] [i.e., 6 characteristics (attributes) of all mankind] was upon the face of the deep [Heb: an abyss (as a surging mass of water)].

2.    (Dan 12:11) And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination [a] that maketh desolate [b] set up [i.e., in the command office], there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days [i.e., 1,290 days = 3 ½ years].

a.     abomination: Heb: disgusting, filthy; espec. idolatrous: detestable thing /// utterly.

b.    desolate: Heb: to stun (grow numb), devastate or fig. stupefy /// make amazed, be astonished, destroy (self), (lay, lie, make) waste, wonder. [are we there yet folks??]

3.    (Dan 12:12) Blessed is he that waiteth [a], and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days [i.e., 1,335 days = 3 ½ years, plus the additional 45 days of “great white throne” (Rev 20:11) judgment].

a.     (Luke 21:19) In your patience possess [Gk: get, acquire (own): obtain] ye your souls [your thoughts (your spirit)].

(Rev 20:4-6) And I saw thrones, and they [the redeemed in Christ] sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them [1]: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded [martyred] for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned [as “kings and priests” Rev 1:6; 5:10] with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished [Gk: ended, completed]. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death [i.e., eternal separation from God, eternal separation from Love] hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

1.     (1 Cor 6:3) Know ye not that we shall judge angels [the bad (evil) fallen angels]? how much more things that pertain to this life?

THE RAPTURE

(THIS IS HOW THE FIRST RESURRECTION WILL SOON HAPPEN)

(1 Thes 4:13-18) But I would not have you to be ignorant [1], brethren [redeemed (saved) brothers and sisters], concerning them which are asleep [Gk: be dead] [temporarily], that ye sorrow not, even as others [that are unredeemed] which have no hope [no “blessed hope” Titus 2:13]. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word [Gk: logos] of the Lord [i.e., by the Bible], that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent [Gk: precede] them which are asleep [Gk: be dead]. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel [Michael (Dan 12:1-3)], and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up [Gk: seized: plucked, pulled, taken by force] [2] together with them in the clouds [in the (high probability) nuclear clouds], to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1.    ignorant = Gk: not to know (through lack of information or intelligence); by implic. to ignore (through disinclination): not understand.

2.    Webster’s New World Dictionary: rapture” = 1. the state of being carried away with joy, love, etc.; ecstasy. 2. an expression of great joy, pleasure, etc. 3. a carrying away or being carried away in body or spirit.

a.     Webster’s New World Dictionary: Syn: ecstasy implies extreme emotional exaltation, now usually intense delight that overpowers the senses and lifts one into a trancelike state; bliss implies a state of great happiness and contentment, often suggesting heavenly joy; rapture now generally suggests the mental exaltation experienced when one’s entire attention is captured by something that evokes great joy or pleasure.
