THE GREAT TRIBILATION AT MOUNT CARMEL (part 2)

10-29-23 God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations
depends upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks, our Godly
thoughts laid one upon another, ascending into the mind of Christ. Thought
is a manifestation of “energy” (electricity analogy). These study notes are archived at

THE REAL DEAL
(1 Kings 18:30) And Elijah
said unto all the people, Come near unto me.
And all the people [obediently] came near unto him [they prayed together, “salting” the
wound] and he repaired [Heb: to mend (by stitching), fig. to cure: heal, make whole] [i.e., he
restored] the
[brasen] altar
of the [salvation of the] LORD that was broken down [Heb: pulled down or in pieces, destroyed:
beaten down, overthrown, ruined, X utterly]
1.
Commentary: The people had
abandoned their belief system, they had abandoned their faith.
(1 Kings
18:31-35) And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the
tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word
of the LORD came [i.e.,
they all “heard” the word (heard the seed)], saying, Israel [Heb: he
will rule as God, prince with God] shall be thy name: And with the stones [the
12 tribes] he
built an [brasen] altar [of salvation] in the name of the LORD: and he made a
trench [1] about [Heb: on every side, compassing] the [brasen] altar [of our salvation], as great
as would contain two measures [i.e., two
specific amounts] of seed [2]. And he [Elijah] put the wood [i.e., the broken-off branches (Rom 11:17),
the rejected parts of trees, the sins (sinfulness) of our natural-man] in order [i.e., under control] [3],
and [then] cut the [innocent] bullock in [into covering] pieces
[(fig.) to sacrificially cover
each sin (the broken off pieces of wood) from the eyes of God], and laid him [laid the bullock, representing the innocent
sacrifice of Jesus Christ)] on
the wood [to symbolize the
covering atonement (forgiveness) of our broken souls (our sins)], and said, Fill
four [“chosen”] barrels with water [fill the four barrels with the water of the
word of God, i.e., fill Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, (and we too have
become many more “chosen” barrels)], and pour it [4] on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood [the
first time for our “justification = salvation” at the brasen
altar]. And he said, Do it the second
time [at the brasen laver
for our “sanctification = cleansing.” Take into (swallow) your barrel of the
water of the word of God, i.e., re-read (re-hear), meditate,
contemplate, consider, and then pour God’s word out of yourself]. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time [as the thoughts of your mind
spiritually enter into the Tabernacle (the house of God) for our
“perfection” i.e., re-read (re-hear), meditate, and pour]. And they did it the third time [5]. And the water
[the flowing Holy Spirit of
God] ran
[in continuous activity] round about [“on
all sides” of] the altar [of
salvation]; and
he filled
the trench [that was plowed
deep into the defiling earth] also with water [so now we know who is guarding our
salvation].
1.
trench
= Heb: a channel (into which water is
raised for irrigation); also a bandage placed upon a wound: cure, healing, little river, watercourse.
a.
Commentary: “a trench” = within the Hebrew definition given of “trench,”
please note that water symbolizes the Holy Spirit.
2.
Commentary: “two measures of seed” = one measure of God the Father and one
measure of God the Son only,
because God the Holy Spirit (the third measure) was not yet given:
a.
(John 16:7) Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is
expedient [Gk: good,
profitable] for
you that I go away: for if I go not
away, the Comforter [the Holy Spirit] will
not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
b.
(Matt 13:33) Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom
of heaven is like unto leaven [Gk: to ferment (as if boiling up)] [like yeast puffing up, symbolizing
false doctrine (Matt 16:6,11,12)], which a woman took [like the “apple”], and hid [Gk: concealed] in three measures of meal [Gk: flour] [ground up seed: 1. God
the Father, 2. God the Son, 3. God the Holy Spirit, all three are symbolized by
“three measures of meal,” thereby making the composite Bible], till the whole was
leavened [in apostasy, and the
leavening is approaching completion.
3.
(2 Tim
1:7) For God hath
not given us the spirit of fear [the opposite of the spirit of faith]; but of
power, and of love, and of a sound mind [Gk: discipline, self-control].
4.
Commentary: “and pour it” = pour out the
chosen barrels of water (the word of God), i.e., pour out your “salt” of the word of God, pour out
your
understanding of the word of God, unto the people.
5.
Commentary: “the third time” = of filling (reading, taking in, swallowing), then
meditating
i.e., chewing the cud (thinking), and then pouring out
to the people the 4 barrels of water 3 times. In addition to signifying the
Trinity, and the 12 tribes, perhaps also
indicating that we
too are “chosen” barrels of heavenly water, and that we too should willingly
accept our barrel to be filled with the water of the word of God that may be found in
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, “three times,” i.e., ad infinitum, lest the barrel be found empty.
a.
(Josh 1:8) This book of the law [the
Bible] shall not depart out
of thy mouth [i.e., be poured out to
others]; but
[except] thou shalt
meditate [Heb: ponder:
speak, study, talk, utter] therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then
thou shalt have good
success.
THE MANIFESTATION OF HOLINESS
(1 Kings
18:36,37) And it came to pass at the time of the offering [Heb: to ascend] of the evening
sacrifice [3 pm], that Elijah the
prophet [Heb: inspired man] came near,
and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day
that thou art God in Israel,
and that I am thy servant, and that I have [obediently] done all these
things at thy word. Hear me, O LORD, hear me,
that this people may know that thou art
the LORD God, and that
thou hast turned their heart [Heb: (their) understanding] back again [out of apostasy back toward holiness].
(1 Kings
18:38-40) Then the
fire of the LORD fell [1],
and consumed [Gk: to eat: burned up, devoured] the burnt sacrifice
[downward], and the wood [downward, and the stones [downward], and the dust [downward], and licked up the
water [upward] that was in the
trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces [in worship]: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is
the God. And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets [believers] of Baal [Satan]; let not one of them escape. And they took [Heb:
seized] them:
and Elijah brought them down to the brook [Heb: stream] Kishon [Heb: winding /// to bend, to set a trap: lay a snare], and slew them
there [ending the Sore
Famine/Great Tribulation] [2].
1.
(Heb
12:29) For our
God is a
consuming [Gk:
to consume utterly]
fire.
2.
(Deut
13:5) And that [false] prophet,
or that [false] dreamer of
dreams, shall be put to death;
because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the
land of Egypt, and redeemed [Heb: severed, ransomed; preserved:
rescued]
you out of the house of bondage [Heb: servitude] [to Satan, “the
god of this world” 2 Cor 4:4],
to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil
away from the midst of thee.
LAST WARNING TO UNBELIEVERS
(1 Kings 18:41) And Elijah said [gave, delivered, a last warning] unto Ahab [i.e., Ahab’s last
chance to gain eternal life] [1],
Get thee up [Heb: ascend, mount up, (and be) restored] [get thee up Mount Carmel], eat and drink [eat the “logos” word and drink the
“rhema” word; prepare yourself to meet God]; for there is a sound [Heb:
call, voice]
of abundance of rain [an
abundance of righteousness, the latter rain, revelations, i.e., God is
coming].
1.
(Jer 3:3) Therefore the showers have been
withholden, and there hath been no latter rain;
and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
RAPTURE
(1 Kings 18:42-44) So Ahab went up
[marginally, as a professing
believer rather than as a confessing believer] to eat and to drink
[to sustain himself]. And Elijah went up [Heb: ascended] to the top of Carmel [to be closer (more intimate) with God]; and he cast himself down [at the realization of his sins] upon the earth, and put his face
between his knees [in passionate
prayer], And said to his servant [to you or me in type and shadow], Go up now [experience
“the rapture” NOW; mentally experience spiritual enlightenment,
revelation upon revelation, and great joy], look [Heb: look intently at; by implic. to regard with pleasure] toward the sea
[a Bible symbol of all humanity;
look at (spiritually) your brothers and sisters who are being mentally raptured
together, like yourself]. And he [Elijah’s servant] went up [obediently], and looked,
and said, There is nothing.
And he [Elijah] said, Go again seven times [seven
is the symbolic number of “completion” i.e., of a process, a revelation
incrementally received (built up) to completion, “seven times” i.e., go
often]. And it came to pass at the seventh time [at “completion”] [1], that
he [the servant] said, Behold,
there ariseth [Heb: ascends] a little [Heb: abbreviated, diminutive] cloud [of fully raptured people] out of the sea [of
humanity], like
a man's hand [2] [the Hand
of Christ, and the full Body of Christ continues to rise up out
of the sea of humanity, to this time] [3]. And he [the servant (an
inspired man), now a redeemed “instrument of God” prophesying] said [to Elijah, Ahab’s exit orders (Gen 3:23; Isa 14:12)], Go up, say
unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot [(for
war)], and get thee down [rejected from Mount Carmel, i.e., down from a strong type and
shadow of heaven], that the rain [“the
truth” John 14:6] stop thee not [in
your mad pursuit of your own destruction] [4].
1.
(Josh
6:16) And it came to
pass at the seventh time, when the
priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.
2.
(Eph
4:10-12) He [Jesus
Christ]
that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all
heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave
[Gk: granted]
[left behind, the working fingers of His Hand, i.e., “The Hand
Ministry” consisting of]
some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
and some, pastors and teachers
[collectively
rising (ascending) out of the sea of humanity]; For the perfecting of the
saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
3.
(Rom
8:18,19) For
I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory [Christ
Jesus] which shall be revealed [Gk: to take off the cover, disclosed] in us [ref. 2 Thess 1:4-12]. For the earnest expectation of the
creature [Gk: (all) creation] waiteth for the
manifestation [Gk:
disclosure: appearance, revelation] of the sons of God [i.e., us in full Glory].
4.
(2 Pet 2:1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as
there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in [“who will subtly and stealthily introduce
heretical doctrines” Amplified Bible]
damnable heresies, even denying
the Lord that bought them, and bring upon
themselves swift destruction.
ENDING THE SORE FAMINE/GREAT TRIBULATION,
AND THEN INITIATING THE
THOUSAND YEARS MILLENNIUM
(1 Kings
18:45,46) And it came to pass in the
mean while [i.e., while the previous
circumstances of no rain, sore famine, and great tribulation) were happening], that the heaven was black [Heb: ashy, dark colored; by implic. to mourn (in
sackcloth or other sordid garments): X heavily] [1] with clouds and wind [the wind symbolizes the Holy Spirit coming
with Christ Jesus and the raptured Saints to “blow away” the chaff], and there was a
great rain [2]. And Ahab rode [in his war chariot], and
went to Jezreel [Heb: God will sow] [the
palace of King Ahab was situated in the city of Jezreel] [3]. And the hand of
the LORD was on Elijah; he girded up his loins, and ran [with the fullness of the Holy
Spirit] before [ahead of] Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel [but not yet into Jezreel until Ahab’s arrival which initiates
the 1,000 years Millennium. May we note that “the valley of Jezreel” is also
called “Armageddon” (Heb: rendezvous)]
[4].
1.
Commentary: “black with clouds” = redeemed residents in Heaven are angry during the sore Famine/Tribulation and cry out “with a loud voice”
(the fifth seal, Rev 6:9-11) for judgement and vengeance, i.e., for correction,
herein prophesying a “corrected” final picture of the then happily cleansed (no darkness) raptured
Saints coming back with Christ Jesus in white clouds “clothed in
fine linen, white and clean” (Rev 19:14) in
readiness to judge the world [i.e., to judge the universe].
a.
(1 Cor 6:2,3) Do ye not know that the saints shall judge
the world [Gk: “cosmos”
(the universe)]? and if the world
shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy
to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we
shall judge angels [i.e., judge
the bad (evil) angels only]? how much more things that pertain to this life?
2.
Commentary: “a great rain” = “great” water of the word sinking down deep into the heart
of the earth and embracing the
(sown) dead bodies (seeds) of the saints, and also embracing those living saints who are
still “alive and
remain” (1 Thes 4:17) thereby initiating
the first
resurrection (Rev 20:1-6) of fully regenerated Saints (Angels) who will preach
and teach throughout the 1,000 years Millennium. What does water do
to seeds buried in the earth? The
Holy Spirit’s action on sown (planted)
seeds may be exemplified by we the maturing “wheat seeds” (the saints) who are
slowly
growing up out of the defiling ground, growing up out of the earth, being separated from the earth while we are, at the same time slowly being raptured closer to God, i.e., we are now being mentally separated
from this earth by revelations from God… of God. This is happening while we learn
and are becoming more and more intimate
with God as we receive revelation
upon revelation, ever growing upward, separating our thoughts of God
(i.e., God’s Thoughts) from the flesh of earth. (having flesh is like
walking around in a box). Immediately after
the latter rain, the 1,000 years Millennium begins with equipped Saints (us), now fully prepared (educated)
to minister to God’s people for “a thousand years.”

Nelson’s Illustrated Bile
Dictionary: “Jezreel” = The Old
Testament name of the entire valley
that separates Samaria from Galilee (Josh 17:16) is also called Armageddon, which is the site
of the final battle of this age in which God intervenes to destroy the armies
of Satan and to cast Satan into the bottomless pit [eternally]. This valley between Mount Carmel and the city of
Jezreel known as the
Valley of Jezreel was a strategic trade and military site.
4.
rendezvous:
Dict. = a place designated for a meeting
or assembling, as of troops, ships, airplanes, space vehicles, etc. [i.e., therein, the entire assembly of
Satan’s earthly army is going to “meet” God]
