HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE GARMENTS OF SALVATION?

09-24-23 God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations
depends upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks, our Godly
thoughts laid one upon another, ascending into the mind of Christ. Thought
is a manifestation of “energy.” (Think about that). These study notes are archived at

THE GARMENTS OF SALVATION
(Rev 19:8-10)
And to her [to the Bride of Christ (us)] was granted that she should be arrayed
[Gk: clothed] in fine linen, clean and
white [Gk: radiant; fig. magnificent: gorgeous]: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints
[1]. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed
[Gk: happy] are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he [the angel]
saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his
[the angel’s] feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and
of thy brethren [2] that have the testimony of Jesus:
worship God: for the testimony [Gk:
evidence: report, witness] of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
1.
(Isa 61:10) I will greatly rejoice [Heb: be bright, cheerful: be glad,
joyful] in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the
garments of salvation [Heb:
liberty, deliverance, prosperity: safety], he
hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh
himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

things was a redeemed man.” (comp. Rev 22:8,9 for
“twofold” (mentioned twice) verification).
THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB
(Matt 22:1-9)
And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by
parables [Gk: a similitude; a fictitious narrative of common life
conveying a moral], and said, The kingdom
of heaven is like unto a certain king [Father God], which
made a marriage [1] for his son [Jesus Christ], And
sent forth his servants [Gk: slaves (involuntarily or voluntarily):
bondsmen] to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and
they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants
[2], saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold,
I have prepared my dinner: my oxen [shepherds] and my
fatlings [fattened sheep (us)] are killed [harvested],
and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But
they made light of it [Gk: to be careless of: neglect, not
regard], and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his
merchandise [business (earthly sources of support)]: And
the remnant took his servants, and entreated
them spitefully [Gk: exercised violence, abused], and slew them. But when the king heard
thereof, he was wroth [Gk: provoked or
enraged; (passively) became exasperated: angry]: and he sent forth his armies
[angels], and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their
city [i.e., Great Tribulation]. Then saith he to his
servants, The wedding is ready, but they
which were bidden [the Jews in particular, all unsaved nations in
general] were not worthy [Gk:
deserving, suitable]. Go ye therefore into the highways [of
the nations, the 1,000 year Millennium], and
as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

Commentary: “marriage” = Physically, marriage is the merging
of two different bodies into one body. Spiritually, marriage is the merging
of two different minds (thought patterns) into
one thought pattern. To that end, marriage is an activity which promotes
a literal exchange of spirits (thought patterns), particularly at
the peak (climax) of sexual copulation (total surrender – mutually opened
doors); hence, a Christian is called to not be
“unequally yoked” to an unbeliever who has no Holy Spirit, and is
therefore unknowingly quite full of evil spirits (evil
thoughts, i.e., fallen angels).
a.
(2 Cor 6:14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with
unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2.
Commentary: Dake’s Annotated
Reference Bible = “It was customary for two invitations to be given, one in
advance and one when all things were ready. (comp. Esther 5:8; 6:14; Luke
14:16,17).”
BUT
THE MAN HAD NOT ON A WEDDING GARMENT
(Matt 22:10-14) So those servants [saved, born-again, bondmen]
went out into the highways [of the nations], and
gathered together all [suggesting churches] as many as
they found, both bad and good [i.e.,
His servants ministered (preached) to as many people “as they found”]:
and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king [Father God] came in to see the
guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding
garment [Gk: apparel (espec.
the outer robe)]: And he saith unto him, Friend [rather
than “Son”], how camest thou in hither not
having a wedding garment? And he [the spiritually garmentless
(naked) unsaved man standing before God] was speechless [because
the man did not understand the words (Gk: rhema = the revelations of
God), i.e., the language of God]. Then said the king to the
servants [who understood the rhema language of God], Bind him hand [his work] and foot [his walk], and take him away, and cast him into outer
darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called [Gk: invited], but few are chosen [Gk: selected] [1].
1.
Commentary: Gideon, led by the Holy Spirit, called four tribes of Israel to the battle.
Only 32,000 (professing Christian) soldiers responded (fig. came to
church), of which, after being tested, 10,000 (confessing
Christians) were chosen to receive the
wedding garments [the wings of eternal salvation]. But what
happened to the remaining 22,000 soldiers that did not believe God
for the victory? These unbelievers were sent back to their homes to receive their
earthly inheritances.
Amen 😊
