GODLY THINGS TO THINK ABOUT

no video uploaded

09-17-23 God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks, our Godly thoughts laid one upon another, ascending into the mind of Christ. Thought is a manifestation of “energy.” (Think about that). These study notes are archived at tabernacleofmoses.org.

EVERY SAINT SHALL REJOICE IN HEAVEN

(Rev 19:1-7) And after these things I [(John the Revelator’s “vision” of heaven; his spirit went, his body stayed)] heard a great voice of much people [i.e., vast numbers] in heaven, saying, Alleluia [Gk: praise ye Jah!, an adoring exclamation] [1]; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power [four attributes of God, perhaps symbolized in context as an overview of the following four beasts], unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore [Gk: a strumpet; fig. an idolater] [Babylon (Heb: the confusion) of unbelief], which did corrupt [Gk: (waste): shrivel or wither, spoil, ruin, deprave: defile, destroy] the earth with her fornication [Gk: harlotry; fig. idolatry] [2], and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they [the vast multitude] said, Alleluia. And her [the antichrist’s] smoke rose up for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts [Gk: zoon; live things, animals] [very intelligent sentient animals encompassing (as “the four winds”) the Throne of God] [3] fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia [i.e., the fourth mention; within context, the 4 Alleluia(s) praise the 4 given attributes of God: “salvation, and glory, and honour, and power”]: for the Lord God omnipotent [4] reigneth [Gk: rules]. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb [Jesus Christ] is come, and his wife [us, the Bride of Christ] hath made herself ready [Gk: prepared] [i.e., co-operated with God and been immersed, bathed, cleansed and purified by the Word of God] [5]

1.    Commentary: “Alleluia” = (Hallelujah) is presented as a word of emphatic exclamation meaning “Praise the Lord!” This word “Alleluia,” conveying extreme praise and adoration, occurs only 4x in the Bible (Rev 19:1,3,4,6), which fact brands the entire Rev. 19:1-7 passage as exceedingly important.

2.    idolatry: Dict. = 1. worship of idols. 2. excessive devotion to or reverence for some person or thing [other than God].

a.     (1 Tim 6:10) For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows

3.    Commentary: “the four beasts” = The phrase “the four beasts” (11x) is found only in Revelations 19:1-7. These are four believing aliens from other worlds who are significantly positioned in Heaven closest (most intimate) to the Throne of God. The four beasts are positioned first at the Throne of God before (in front of) the 24 elders. Note also the prominence of the four beasts in Rev 6:1-8. The four beasts and the four and twenty elders are thoughts, not physical, but spiritual. Consider Ezekiel 1:1-28 for a much more detailed (and highly symbolic) Old Testament (physicality) description (type and shadow) of “the likeness of four living creatures” who each had “the likeness of a man.”

4.    omnipotent: Dict. = having unlimited power or authority; all powerful.

5.    (Dan 12:10) Many shall be purified [Heb: clarified (brightened): made bright, chosen, cleansed, polished], and made white [forgiven, made innocent], and tried [Heb: fuse (metal), refined: purged]; but the wicked shall do wickedly [a]: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand [that we are now being “purged” in preparation for everlasting life (joy) in Heaven]

a.     (Dan 7:25) And he [the wicked Antichrist(s)] shall speak great words against the most High [God], and shall wear out [Heb: (used only in a mental sense); afflict] [Rev 13:7] the saints [(that’s us)] of the most High, and think to change times and laws [this is our present circumstance]: and they [the saints] shall be given into his hand [Heb: power] until a time and times and the dividing of time [3 ½ years of Great Tribulation]

Amen 😊
