09-10-23 God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations
depends upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks, our Godly
thoughts laid one upon another, ascending into the mind of Christ. These study notes are archived at

(John 15:1) I [Jesus Christ] am the true vine [Gk:
a vine (as coiling about a support)], and my Father [God (the support)] is the husbandman [Gk: land worker, farmer]
[i.e., a farmer loves the land and is married to it;
please note that a farmer continually pierces the ground, sowing His
seed].
HIS
CHILDREN
(on
good ground) FRUIT, MORE FRUIT, MUCH FRUIT (30
fold, 60 fold, 100 fold)
(John 15:2-8)
Every branch in me [the tree of life]
that beareth not fruit
he taketh away [that settles that issue, now let us go
forward]: and every branch that beareth fruit
[thereby necessitating the existence of “good ground”], he
purgeth [Gk: cleanses, prunes] it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are
clean [Gk: clear, pure] through
the word [Gk: logos] [seed (the cleansing agent)] which I have spoken unto you [via the words of
the Bible (Luke 8:11)]. Abide [Gk: dwell] in
me [i.e., think about Me], and I [will literally dwell, live] in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of
itself, except it abide in the vine; no more
can ye, except ye abide in me [Jesus Christ]. I am the vine, ye are the
branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth
forth much fruit: for without me ye can
do nothing [a contraction of “no thing” zero]. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch [on the tree of life],
and is withered [Gk: desiccated;
shriveled: dried up] [because of the absence of the water of life, i.e., the
Holy Spirit]; and men gather them [the dry wood branches],
and cast them into the fire [of persecution and tribulation],
and they are burned [Gk: consumed]. If ye abide in me, and my
words [Gk: rhema] [revelations] abide
in you, ye shall ask what ye will [in accordance with Scripture],
and it shall be done unto you. Herein is [this is how] my Father glorified, that ye
bear much fruit; so shall ye be my
disciples [Gk: learners, pupils] [students].
(John 15:9-12)
As the Father hath loved me [His Son],
so have I loved you [My disciples]:
continue ye in my love. If ye keep my
commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my
Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These
things have I spoken unto you, that my joy
[Gk: cheerfulness, calm delight: gladness] might remain in you, and that your joy might be full
[Gk: to make replete: complete, perfect]. This is my
commandment, That ye love one another, as I have
loved you.
(John 15:13-17)
Greater [Gk: larger] love
hath no man than this, that a man lay down [sacrifice] his life [as needed, partially up to completely]
for his friends [Gk: dear;
actively fond]. Ye are my friends [Gk:
dear; actively fond], if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what
his lord doeth: but I have called you friends
[Gk: dear]; for all things that I have heard of my Father I
have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained
you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit [30
fold (fruit), 60 fold (more fruit), 100 fold (much fruit)], and that your fruit should remain
[here, while no-fruit children are “taken away”]: that
whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another.
THE
GREAT COMMANDMENT
(Matt 22:34-40)
But when the Pharisees had heard that he
[Jesus] had put the Sadducees to silence, they [the
unbelieving religious leaders] were gathered together. Then
one of them, which was a lawyer [Gk: an expert in the (Mosaic)
law] [being “more subtle” than the others], asked him a question, tempting
[Gk: testing] him [i.e., looking to trip Him up],
and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou
shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This
is the first and great commandment. And the
second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On
these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets [the
Bible].
Amen 😊
