Commentary: the waters of the river Jordan [Heb: descender] are a symbol of the Holy Spirit who descends from God and separates Israel (the Promised Land) westward from the wilderness eastward, thereby separating the saved from the unsaved.

(John 1:14)  And the Word [Gk: logos] [of God] was made flesh [in Jesus/Christ (logos/rhema)], and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1.     Commentary: Jesus = “was made flesh” = logos (typified by six waterpots filled with water); Christ = Spirit = rhema (the wine (revelations) flowing out of the waterpots, i.e., “the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Rom 8:18; 2 Thes 1:7-12); Christ is in us, and shall come out of us (John 2:8).

(Matt 3:10-17)  And now also the axe [Jesus Christ] [1] is laid [cutting off] unto the root of the trees [a Biblical symbol of men (Psa 1:3)]: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire [at the judgment]. I indeed baptize you [Gk: make whelmed (fully wet)] [“fill the waterpots”] with water [of the river Jordan, the Holy Spirit] unto repentance [Gk: to think differently, reconsider]: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he [Jesus/Christ (logos/rhema)] shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost [salvation], and with fire [glorification]: Whose fan [Gk: winnowing fork (as scattering like spittle)] is in his hand [Gk: power], and he will throughly purge [Gk: cleanse perfectly, winnow] his [threshing] floor, and gather his wheat [all saved, born-again persons] into the garner [Gk: repository: barn] [2]; but he will burn up [Gk: consume wholly] the chaff with unquenchable [Gk: perpetual] fire. Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him [John]. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized [with the rhema (Christ)], went up straightway out of the [logos] water [the word of God] [3]: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit [rhema] of God descending like a dove [wine (water into wine: John 2:1-11); intoxicating, a symbol of the Holy Spirit], and lighting [like a burning candle (Psa 18:28)] upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

1.     (2 Kings 6:1-7)  And the sons of the prophets [from one of the schools of prophets] said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait [Heb: narrow: small] for us. Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam [of wood], and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell [in a house of God]. And he answered, Go ye. And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go. So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood. But as one was felling a beam, the axe head [Christ, the cutting part of the axe] fell [allusions to fallen angels] into the water [of the Holy Spirit, the rhema word of God (Eph 5:26)]: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed [not mine but loaned to me]. And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he [Elisha] cut down a stick [Jesus, the controlling part of the axe], and cast it in thither [into the water, a hyperbolic type of the fallen angel Jonah]; and the iron did swim [i.e., was “quick (Gk: alive) and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword… Heb 4:12]. Therefore said he [Elisha], Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it [“take up the cross, and follow me” Mark 10:21] [and he got saved].

2.     (Matt 13:30)  Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers [“the reapers are the angels” Matt 13:39], Gather ye together [Gk: collect] first the tares [Gk: darnel] [poisonous weeds], and bind [Gk: tie] them in bundles [of like-thinking individuals, e.g., abortionists, feminists, homosexuals, liars, etc., Rev 21:8; 22:15] to burn them: but gather [Gk: assemble] the wheat into my barn [house, heavenly mansion].

3.     (Gen 1:1-4)  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face [anthropomorphism] of the deep [Heb: a surging mass of water]. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light [“straightway out of the water” Matt 3:16]. And God saw the light, that it was good [“I am well pleased” Matt 3:17]: and God divided the light [Jesus Christ] from the darkness [Lucifer Satan].

a.      (John 8:12)  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light [Gk: to shine (by rays)] of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

HOMEWORK

FOOD FOR MEDITATION (A PROGRESSING COMPILATION)

God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks. God is Love (sacrificial). We who are saved, redeemed, imputed for righteousness, born-again, are spiritually ascending and descending Jacob’s ladder (Gen 28:12; John 1:51) in meditation (inner thoughts) and prayer (manifested thoughts). God is Life. Thoughts are Life (they move). God’s Thoughts don’t ever die; they are eternal (Heb 4:12; John 1:14). God is Spirit. God’s Angels are Spirits. God’s Angels are His manifested Thoughts (His Words). The Holy Spirit of God is the composite of all His Angels, all His Holy Thoughts conceptualized into/as One Body, who are created as Spirits, as a flaming fire (Psa 104:4; Jer 23:29; Heb 1:7). Angels are His manifested Spirit. God is the eternal Spirit from which all things that are the entire manifested universe was/is being created. All S(s)pirits (A(a)ngels) were originated as God’s Thoughts. You are a fallen angel, yet still redeemable. You are a transitional part of God’s Spirit (Eccl 12:7); you will become either a redeemed eternal Heavenly Spirit, or an eternal fallen spirit. You are a fallen angel/spirit temporarily living inside a physical container-body. The Garden of Eden is a type and shadow of Heaven. All the trees in the Garden of Eden are fruit trees (Gen 1:11,12,29; 2:9,16,17) symbolizing Angels (Heb: messengers) whose fruit is God’s message (Gal 5:22,23; Eph 5:9 & Rev 22:2). Men are fruit trees (Mat 7:15-20; 12:33; Luke 3:9). The S(s)pirits of men are A(a)ngels (Rev 19:9,10; 22:8,9). God speaks to us in tongues, logos/rhema (seed/fruit - revelations). God’s language is the rhema (sword) contained within the logos (scabbard) Word, Biblically identified as the double-edged Sword of the Lord. God’s good Angels are Holy and shine with/as/are the Glory of God, versus God’s evil angels who were once but are no longer Holy and do not shine with the glory of God. God’s good angels dwell inside temporary mankind containers and are distributors (messengers) of God’s Holy Words (Gal 3:19; Heb 2:2). God’s evil angels dwell inside the same temporary mankind containers and are distributors (messengers) of unholy perversions of God’s manifested Thoughts that have been altered, distorted, tainted, and otherwise misrepresented by Lucifer/Satan. Christ is “in us” (Rom 8:18; 2 Thes 1:7-12), and shall come out of us (John 2:8) as glory.

(Rom 12:1,2)  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies [containers] a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to [Gk: fashioned alike, conformed to the same pattern of] this world [of worldly Lucifer/Satan thoughts]: but be ye transformed [Gk: (metamorphosed); changed, transfigured] [Matt 17:2; Mark 9:2] [from caterpillar to butterfly] by the renewing [Gk: renovation] [making new again] of your [Angelic Godly] mind [Gk: thoughts], that ye may prove what is that good [30 fold], and acceptable [60 fold], and perfect [100 fold], will of God.
