God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks, our Godly Thoughts laid one upon another, ascending into the mind of Christ.

KINGDOM WORKS

(OJT, ON THE JOB TRAINING)

(Matt 25:14,15) For the kingdom of heaven is as a man [Jesus Christ] travelling into a far country [Heaven], who called his own servants [believers (soldiers/angels)], and delivered [Gk: yielded up, intrusted, transmitted] unto them his goods [Gk: substance] [1]. (Matt 25:15) And unto one he gave [“the knowledge of the truth” 1 Tim 2:4] five talents [2,3], to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his [the man’s innate, inborn, inherent] several [Gk: idios; pertaining to self, one’s own] [4] ability [Gk: power] [willingness to understand] [5]; and straightway took his journey [Acts 1:9].

1.    Commentary: “his goods” = Thought is God’s substance. God is love.  God is Loving Thought. All thoughts have power. Internal thoughts change (modify, alter, transform) our internal minds, and also create externalized word-vehicles (symbols, seeds, languages) containing our thoughts which change (modify, alter, transform) the minds of others. What does God want accomplished through His seed-thoughts as expressed by Jesus Christ (the Bible: John 1:14)?

a.     (1 Tim 2:3,4) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. [AND HOW…?]

b.    (2 Tim 2:15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a work man [Gk: toiler] [student] that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word [Gk: logos] [the seed] of truth.

2.    talent = Gk: to bear; a balance (as supporting [of] weights), a certain weight (thence a coin or sum of money). [i.e., perhaps offices, things of value to God for accomplishing salvation]

a.     (Matt 23:23)  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier [Gk: weight, fig. burdensome, grave: grevious, heavy] matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith [i.e, components of the salvation message]: these ought ye to have done [also], and not to leave the other undone.

b.    (1 Chron 4:9,10) And Jabez [Heb: sorrowful] [a type and shadow of Jesus Christ “a man of sorrows” Isa 53:3] was more honourable [Heb: heavy; weighty: noble] than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge [Heb: increase] my coast [Heb: borders], and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from [doing] evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

3.    (Eph 4:10-12) He [Jesus Christ] that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave [five offices] some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying [Gk: building (up)] of the body of Christ:

a.     Commentary: “five talents” = representing five sacred offices each empathizing similar but different skills for the work of the ministry of salvation, whereas the nine gifts of the Spirit are like nine farmer’s tools employed for sowing and reaping crops of salvations.

4.    Commentary: “several” = Greek: “idios” appearing only one other time (1 Cor 12:11) in the Bible.

5.    Commentary: “ability” = to use (actualize oneself), a cooperative venture between God and man to enhance the Kingdom of God according (proportionate) to the strength of one’s own natural abilities – and willingness to think, to understand and to use those abilities.

(Matt 25:16-18) Then he that had received the five talents went and traded [Gk: toiled (as a task, occupation, etc.): worked] with the same, and made them other five talents [he doubled]. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two [the doubled]. But he that had received one [talent not only showed no increase, but disobeyed his master] went and digged [Gk: burrowed] [i.e., used effort] in the earth, and hid [Gk: concealed away fully: kept secret] [intentionally locked it away where it could never gain anything] his lord's money [i.e., symbolic of the salvation message, i.e., stony ground].

(Matt 25:19-21) After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. [I have obeyed and done the best of my ability] His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful [Gk: trustworthy] servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler [the authority] over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

(Matt 25:22,23) He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. [I have obeyed and done the best of my ability] His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler [the authority] over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

(Matt 25:24,25) Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew [Gk: to “know” (absolutely)] thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid [Gk: concealed away fully: kept secret] thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine [but he did not do what was commanded of him to the best of his ability, or even to the least of his ability].

(Matt 25:26,27) His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked [Gk: hurtful, evil] and slothful [lazy: not wanting to do the Lord’s work] servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury [Gk: interest].

(Matt 25:28-30) Take therefore the talent from him [take his limited understanding (he was a servant)], and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath [obedience and understanding] shall be given [more understanding], and he shall have abundance [of understanding]: but from him that hath not [obedience and understanding] shall be taken away even that [understanding] which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable [Gk: useless] servant [i.e. the unprofitable professing Christian] into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
