God is Thought. The brightness
of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our
doctrines, our building blocks, our Godly Thoughts laid
one upon
another, ascending into the mind of Christ.
PREPARATION (OUR EDUCATION)
(Matt 25:1-4) Then shall the kingdom
of heaven be likened
unto ten virgins [ten (fig. all virgins) seemingly
believers
in Jesus Christ, the church, the supposedly (allegedly) expectant
bride
[1] of Christ], which [in the day-time]
took their
lamps [Gk: light] [understanding; here also
the lamps
are symbolizing their bodies (as did the “pitchers” of Gideon’s
300),
their containers for the oil of the Holy Spirit], and went forth
to
meet the bridegroom [Jesus Christ]. And five of them [half
of them] were wise [Gk: thoughtful] [“sensible,
intelligent, prudent” Amplif.], and five [the other half]
were
foolish [Gk: dull or stupid, heedless, moral blockheads]
[“thoughtless, without forethought” Amplif.] [2]. They that were
foolish
took their lamps [Gk: light] [their natural
understanding],
and took no oil with them [took no Holy Spirit
supernatural
understanding with them, i.e., stony ground people]: But
the wise
took oil [the Holy Spirit] in their vessels [(in
their body containers)] with their lamps [Gk:
light] [supernatural
understanding].
1.
(Rom
8:18) For I reckon that
the sufferings [Gk: hardships or pains] of this present
time are not
worthy to be compared with the glory [the
unfathomable
brightness, as in Gideon’s 300] which shall be revealed [Gk:
to take off the cover (of our bodies): disclosed] in
us.
[2 Thes 1:7-12]
2.
(2
Tim 2:15) Study [a] to shew thyself approved
unto God, a workman [Gk: toiler] [student] that
needeth not
to be ashamed, rightly dividing [b] the word
[Gk:
logos] [the seed] of truth.
a.
study = Gk: to use speed, make
effort: be diligent, labour /// “speed,” eagerness, earnestness, haste.
[speed
relates to “time” as the amount of your lifetime it takes to do
something]
b.
rightly
dividing = Gk: to
make a
straight cut, (fig.) to dissect (expound) correctly (the divine
message). [rather
than repeatedly chopping to divide open the seed]
(Matt 25:5,6) While the bridegroom tarried
[Gk: to
take time, lingered] [in the darkening evening], they
all
slumbered [Gk: to nod, to fall asleep] [Dict: to be
dorment, negligent,
or inactive] and slept [Gk: be asleep]
[indicated by a
significant decrease in church involvement, a decrease in light, in
illumination]. And at midnight [the darkest peak
point of
the night, i.e., (fig.) the absolute worst shape the world has
ever been
in] [1-3] there was a cry made, Behold, the
bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
1.
(Matt
24:21,22) For then shall be great tribulation
[Gk: pressure: affliction, anguish, persecution, trouble], such
as was not since the beginning of the world to this time,
no, nor
ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened,
there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake
[Gk:
selected: chosen] those days shall be shortened.
a.
Commentary:
So then, if the
Great Tribulation affects the “elect,” where will most of the “elect”
be during
the Great Tribulation?
2.
(John
3:36) He that
believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that
believeth not
the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
3.
(Eph
5:6) Let no man deceive
you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the
wrath of God
upon the children of disobedience [Gk: disbelief (obstinate and
rebellious)].
(Matt 25:7,8) Then all those virgins
arose [Gk:
wakened], and trimmed [Gk: kosmeo; put in proper
order,
decorated] their [own] lamps [Gk:
(their) light] [they purged and purified their thoughts according to
their own understanding].
And the foolish [now realizing that they were
lacking
(unprepared)] said unto the wise, Give us of your oil
[your
Holy Spirit, i.e., your understanding, your revelations]; for
our
lamps are gone out [i.e., the light of our (limited)
understanding
is gone].
(Matt 25:9) But the wise answered,
saying, Not so;
lest there be not enough [time] for us and you [before
Jesus
comes]: but go ye rather to them that sell [teachers,
pastors], and buy [(sacrifice): trade, exchange
hours of your
valuable alloted life living time] for [understanding
God
in] yourselves.

Commentary
= an ascending (intensifying) level of understanding
(brilliant brightness toward glory) may be achieved by accepting the
presented biblical
information as truth, and then correctly correlating and
assimilating
that information, like the pieces of a puzzle, into an ever enlarging
“big picture”
of thought patterns. This action is singularly personal, and dependent
upon
each individual person’s own willingness to receive and ability
to properly assemble and thereby build, as with building blocks,
revelation
upon revelation upon revelation, a Godly tower (Heb: pulpit) of
truth.
AND THEY THAT WERE READY
(Matt 25:10-13) And while they [the
foolish virgins] went to buy, the bridegroom came; and
they
[the wise virgins] that were ready [Gk:
prepared] [THOSE
WHO HAD DONE THEIR HOMEWORK] went in with him to the marriage:
and the door [of Heaven] was shut. Afterward
came also the
other [foolish] virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to
us.
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not
[i.e., you are not one of my students (disciples)]. Watch
[Gk:
keep awake, be vigilant, watchful] therefore [“give
strict
attention and be cautious and active” Amplif.] [and do not skip these
classes],
for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man
cometh.
1.
(Rev
10:5,6) And the
angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up
his hand
to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who
created
heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things
that
therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that
there
should be time [to prepare yourself] no longer:
Amen
