BEWARE, THERE ARE DEADLY POISONOUS “SNAKES IN THE GRASS”

(Gen 3:1-4) Now the serpent [1] was more subtil [2] than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman [3], Yea, hath God said [i.e., the serpent is subtly sowing (planting) into the mind of the woman the thought (a spirit) of questioning God’s Word], Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die [directly contradicting God’s Words, thus labeling God a liar]:

1.    serpent = Heb: a snake (from its hiss) /// to hiss, that is, to whisper a (magic) spell: enchanter.

a.     spell = Dict: 1. a word, formula, or form of words supposed to have some magic power; incantation. 2. seemingly magical power or irresistible influence; charm; fascination – to cast a spell on, to enchant. 3. to win the complete affection of – under a spell, held in a spell or trance; enchanted [a synonym for hypnosis. hypno = Gk: sleep; Dict: to lull to sleep].

b.    chant = Dict: 1. to sing a chant; intone. 2. to say something monotonously or repetitiously.

2.    subtil = Heb: “subtle”; cunning (usually in a bad sense): crafty.

a.     subtle = Dict: 1. delicately skillful or clever; deft or ingenious. 2. not open or direct; crafty; sly. 3. delicately suggestive; not grossly obvious. 4. working insidiously; not easily detected.

b.    propaganda = Dict: 1. any systematic, widespread dissemination or promotion of particular ideas, doctrines, practices, etc. to further one’s own cause or to damage an opposing one. 2. ideas, doctrines, allegations so spread: now often used disparagingly to connote deception or distortion.

3.    Wikipedia Encyclopedia = The phrase "speaks with a forked tongue" [commonly associated with snakes] means to deliberately say one thing and mean another or, to be hypocritical [a], or act in a duplicitous [deceptive] manner. In the longstanding tradition of many Native American tribes, "speaking with a forked tongue" has meant lying, and a person was no longer considered worthy of trust, once he had been shown to "speak with a forked tongue."

a.     hypocrite = Dict: a person who pretends to be what he is not; one who pretends to be better than he is, or to be pious, virtuous, etc. without really being so. [i.e., a clever actor]

LYING SPIRITS

(i.e., fallen angels: 1 Kings 22:22,23; 2 Chron 18:21,22)

(1 Tim 4:1,2) Now the [Holy] Spirit speaketh expressly [Gk: outspokenly, distinctly] [emphatically], that in the latter times [i.e., now] some shall depart [Gk: remove, revolt, desert: withdraw self] from the faith, giving heed [Gk: to hold the mind to, to adhere] to [the spell cast by, held in mesmerized bondage to the words of] [1] seducing [Gk: imposters or misleaders: deceiving] [lying] spirits [Gk: angels] [fallen angels, demons, devils, unclean spirits] [2,3] , and doctrines [Gk: teachings] of devils [i.e., serpents,  snakes with forked tongues]; Speaking lies in hypocrisy [Gk: acting under a feigned part: deceit]; having their conscience [Gk: moral consciousness] seared with a hot iron [Gk: branded (“cauterized”), rendered unsensitive];

1.    mesmerize = Dict: 1. hypnotic or irresistable attraction; fascination. 2. to hypnotize, to spellbind.

a.     Commentary: How are the minds, the thoughts of people spellbound? Answer: with words.

2.    (Psa 104:4) [God] Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

3.    (Heb 1:7) And of the angels he [God] saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

A LYING SPIRIT

(1 Kings 22:20-23) And [the prophet Micaiah said] the LORD said [to the angels about Him], Who shall persuade [Heb: delude: deceive, entice] Ahab [an evil king of Israel who married Jezebel and opposed the worship of Jehovah], that he [and his army] may go up and fall [Heb: be cast down: fail, be (overwhelmed, overthrown), smitten] at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. And there came forth a spirit [a (fallen) angel], and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade [Heb: delude: deceive, entice] him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith [How]? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth [i.e., the words] of all his prophets [who collectively compose/ed the fake news media propaganda machine]. And he [the LORD] said, Thou shalt persuade [Heb: delude: deceive, entice] him, and prevail [succeed] also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets [the fake news media propaganda machine], and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee. [ref. also 2 Chron 18:21-]

STRONG DELUSION, LIES… AND DIES

(2 Thes 2:8-11) And then shall that Wicked [Gk: lawless: without law, transgressor] [i.e., the abomination of desolation] be revealed [Gk: to take off the cover, be disclosed], whom the Lord shall consume [“For our God is a consuming fire.” Heb: 12:29] with the spirit of his mouth [i.e., the Word of God], and shall destroy with the [nuclear] brightness [Gk: manifestation /// light] of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion [Gk: deception], that they should believe a lie [Gk: falsehoods: lying]:

(John 8:43,44) Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word [Gk: logos] [My seed] [1]. Ye are of your father the devil [Gk: Satan], and the lusts [Gk: longings (espec. for what is forbidden): desires] of your father ye will do. He was a murderer [Gk: (to kill); a manslayer] [2] from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie [i.e., a perversion of the truth], he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar [a perverter of the truth] [3], and the father [generator, author, originator, creator] of it.

1.    Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible, commentary: “ye cannot hear my word” = “Because it exposes your hypocrisy and condemns your sins, so you are determined not to hear”

2.    Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible, commentary: “a murderer” = “Because death came through him. This refers, not to Cain’s murder, but to the death of the whole race by sin (Gen 2:17).”

a.     (Gen 2:17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil [Lucifer-Satan], thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

3.    pervert = Dict: 1. to cause to turn from what is considered right, good, or true; misdirect; lead astray; corrupt. 2. to change or misapply the meaning of; misinterpret; distort; twist.

BUT WE WHO BELIEVE SHALL NEVER DIE

(John 11:25,26) Jesus said unto her [Martha], I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

1.    Commentary: although your temporary physical body will die, the potion of your thoughts that were restored into God’s Thoughs (i.e., God’s Spirit) is immortal and shall live “forever.”

WE SHALL BE BOUND IN THE BUNDLE OF LIFE WITH THE LORD

(1 Sam 25:29) [Abigail (a type and shadow of the Holy Spirit) speaking to David (a type and shadow of you and me)] Yet a man is risen to pursue thee, and to seek thy soul: but the soul of my lord [shall be converted (restored) into the Spirit of God, and we] shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling.
