(Ruth 2:15,16)  [Review: the complete oral exegesis of these two verses is located at www.tabernacleofmoses.org and was delivered on 12-02-07 entitled “The Gleaner becomes the Harvester (the poor become rich)”] //// And when she was risen up [i.e. drawn up by God, a type of rapture] to glean [pick up], Boaz commanded his young men [“the reapers are the angels” Mat 13:39], saying, Let her glean [pick up (stalks)] even among the sheaves [among the stalks of the growing crop], and reproach her not: And let fall [to the ground] also some of the handfuls [of barley stalks cut off, reaped and separated from the world by the angels] of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them [pick them up (harvest them)], and rebuke her not.

(Ruth 2:17,18)  So she [Ruth] gleaned [picked up, gathered (the seeds/saints)] in the field [“the field is the world” Mat 13:38] until even, and beat out [to knock out of, threshed (a type of the tribulation)] that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley. And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law [Naomi] saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved [from her lunch meal as she sat “beside” the reapers] after she was sufficed [full: satisified] [“she did eat, and was sufficed” Ruth 2:14].

1.       (Ruth 2:5-7)  Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this? And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab: And she said, I pray you, let me [give me permission to] glean [Heb: pick up] and gather [Heb: assemble] after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.

Amen
