GOLIATH IS THE EPITOME (ARCHETYPE, EMBODIMENT, ESSENCE) OF THE 666 MAN,

AND HE VISIBLY TREADS UPON THE EARTH TODAY

01-20-13

(Rev 13:18)  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count [Gk: to use pebbles in enumeration, i.e. (gen.) to compute] the number of the beast [Gk: therion; a dangerous animal:--(venomous, wild) beast] [i.e. the antichrist]: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six [666].

1.      (Eccl 3:18)  I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest [make apparent to, show] them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

2.      (1 Th 5:23)  And the very God of peace sanctify [Gk: make holy, purify] you wholly [Gk: complete to the end, i.e. absolutely perfect]; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body [666] be preserved blameless unto the [second] coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Rev 14:1)  And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand [the 777 company, i.e., the completed man plus God company: 6+1=7, 6+1=7, 6+1=7], having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

1.      Commentary: The literal and symbolic numerical combination of 6 repeated twice, i.e. 66, appears fairly frequently in the Old Testament, but the combination of 666 appears only twice (that I am aware of). The first mention (sign, i.e., “burning bush” which we shall duly visit) of 666 is found referring to Goliath and his armor: “whose height was six cubits” (1 Sam 17:4), “his spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron” (1 Sam 17:7); and then the (somewhat hidden) number six encompassing the total pieces of Goliath’s armor.

(1 Sam 17:4-7)  And there went out a champion [a single (adored, elevated) one who represents all the rest, rather like a president] out of the camp of the Philistines [Heb: rolling, i.e. migratory], named Goliath, of Gath, whose height [connotation of pride] was six cubits and a span [10 to 13 feet (enormous - much pride)]. And he had (1) an helmet of brass upon his head [Heb: brazen; filthiness] [brass or brazen is the metal that biblically symbolizes sin, herein encompassing Goliath’s head, thus indicating his thoughts], and he was armed with (2) a coat of mail [brass]; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels [194 pounds] of brass. And he had (3, but actually 3 & 4 – the tricky part) greaves [Heb: shin-pieces] of brass upon his legs, and (5) a target [Heb: lance (javelin)] of brass between his shoulders. And the staff of (6) his spear was like a [wooden] weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron [iron is the metal that biblically symbolizes judgment]: and one bearing a shield went before him.

1.      Strong’s Concordance: Goliath = Heb: exiled /// to make naked or bare (espec. in a disgraceful sense); to exile (captives being usually stripped); fig. to reveal:--disclose, discover, uncover.

a.      The American College Dictionary: exile = 1. prolonged separation from one’s country or home, as by stress or circumstances. 2. any one separated from his country or home. 3. expulsion from one’s native land by authoritative decree. 4. a person banished from his native land. 5. example: the Exile, the Babylonian captivity of the Jews in the 6th century B.C.

2.      A Dictionary of Scripture Proper Names: Goliath = stripped (as a captive).

3.      Commentary: Adam and Eve were exiles driven from the Garden of Eden (Gen 3:23,24). Goliath himself was an exile, being a mutated descendant of the unnatural union of fallen angels (Gen 6:2: exiles from heaven) and a woman (a hereditary exile on the human side with Adam and through Adam). Goliath’s ultimate purpose, so clearly dominant in unsaved man, was to replace God with himself, to reap worship for himself and win this objective at any cost, like our actors, athletes, politicians, businessmen, and the many lesser gradations thereof. Please observe that our unsaved selves were also mutants, each Goliaths in their own domain, and that their individual composition was a consummated marriage of sorts, a kind of husband-wife combination of controlling fallen exiled angels (demons) residing inside fallen exiled humans, and that, once becoming saved, our bodies are each an arena of continual warfare pitting our newly acquired spiritual man against our Goliath.

4.      Gath = Heb: (in the sense of treading out grapes); a wine-press (or vat for holding the grapes in pressing them).

5.      Strong’s Concordance: shield = a hook (as pointed); also a (large) shield (as if guarding by prickliness); also cold (as piercing):--buckler, cold, hook, shield /// to be prickly; a thorn; hence a thorn-hedge.

Commentary: “and one bearing a shield went before him” = If we peer closely at apparent minor irregularities, i.e., exercise our discernment (Heb 5:14), we may observe that the “shield” that “one” bore who went before, in front of, Goliath was technically not a part of Goliath’s six pieces of armor; the “shield” was not attached to or physically connected to Goliath in any way, as were the preceding (an interesting sequence) six pieces of armor, but the “shield” was an independent weapon borne by another “one” to be employed as Goliath’s covering and protection. This “shield” was (is) an item of both defensive and offensive armor (the pointed hook – an allusion to a deadly perversion of the crook of the shepherd’s staff used to collect the sheep) that was borne by another “one” (a second one) to whom it was attached and therefore a part of. Neither was the shield’s physical composition mentioned as were Goliath’s six pieces of metal armor. But most significantly, neither was the identity of the “one” revealed as being a man, or even a woman, but as a vague indistinct formless “one.” Nothing rendered in the KJV Bible (the inerrant Word of God) is without purpose, or, everything rendered in the KJV Bible is with purpose, so what could all the latter mean?

Commentary: May we note that the six pieces of Goliath’s armor were described as metallic, and were therefore crafted instruments without thought or life, i.e., they were literally dead. However, even though the composition of the “shield” was not disclosed, the entire phrase “one bearing a shield went before him” clearly speaks of sentient life evidenced by movement, and serves as a composite allusion to a second companion sentient beast hidden behind the “shield” from cursory superficial view, namely, the false prophet (Rev 13:11-18; 16:13; 19:20; 20:10). Revelation 13:18 links and establishes Goliath as a type and shadow, the archetype, embodiment, essence, of the New Testament 666 beast (Rev 13:1,2) called the antichrist. However, there follows in the biblical text the description of a dual interactive relationship (Rev 13:11-18) wherein Goliath is represented by the first beast antichrist, and “one bearing a shield before [in front of] him” is represented by the second beast (Rev 13:11-18) who himself is the false prophet. And what does a prophet do? He utters words….

Commentary: Let us now search out the unrevealed composition of the “shield” as it is being revealed today within perceivable reality that has already been exposed (it rapidly materialized), and the identity of the false prophet (Rev 13:11-18 - beast) that goes before (in front of) the Goliath anti-christ beast, “shielding” him in many ways. The “shield” is comprised of or constitutes the collective propaganda, misinformation, party line, and half-truths professed by the liberal newsmedia (the false prophet) of this present day. Question: can you guess whom the liberal newsmedia is covering up for and protecting? Answer: the Goliath antichrist man, the personification of the spirit of “strong delusion” (2 Thes 2:11 & Rev 6:2), the “man of sin” (2 Thes 2:3 – brass) whom we have been warning you about for these past five years; he whose character is about to become fully revealed: “And then shall that Wicked be revealed” (2 Thes 2:8). Ah, remember and beware of a seeming great shepherd who bares that sharp pointed hook.

Commentary: We may note that the second mention (sign – “burning bush”) of 666 occurs plainly in the Old Testament when the queen of Sheba gave to Solomon “six hundred threescore and six talents of gold [666]” (1 Kings 10:14). Taken together, Goliath and the queen of Sheba (man and woman) present respectively a quite vivid worldly composite picture of the zenith of evil power and immoral wealth.
