(Mat 13:30)  Let both [the tares and the wheat] grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather [Gk: collect] ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles [in preparation] to burn them [upon His Second Coming]: but gather [Gk: assemble] the wheat into my barn.

1.       Commentary: “and bind them in bundles” = tares are bound like sheaves of hay into associations, organizations, alliances, and other kinds of groupings of like-minded godless persons bound together by their thoughts such as abortionists, feminists, homosexuals, atheists, agnostics, etc., etc.

FIRST THE GATHERING/REVEALING OF THE TARES BY THE REAPERS (“angels” Mat 13:39)

(2Th 2:1-4)  Now we beseech you, brethren, by the [anticipation of the second] coming of our Lord Jesus Christ [at the sixth seal of Rev 6&7], and by our gathering together [Gk: assembling together] unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand [i.e., No brethren, you didn’t become “left behind” and miss it]. Let no man deceive you [Gk: to seduce wholly: beguile] by any means [the first warning of deception, ref. “a white horse” Rev 6:2, the first horse]: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away [Gk: a separation from the truth (apostasy)] first [another not coincidental “first”; comp. Mat 13:30 & Rev 6:1,2], and that man of sin be revealed [Gk: to take off the cover, disclosed], the son of perdition [Gk: damnation] [“perdition” signifies Satan himself; “the son of perdition” signifies The Antichrist]; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God [maniacal pride], or that is worshipped [the gross personification of narcissism]; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God [“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God” 1 Cor 3:16; Antichrist’s projected thoughts sitting in the minds of the deceived people and thus controlling them], shewing [Gk: to show off, exhibiting] himself that he is God [“I will be like the most High” Isa 14:14].

1.       (2Th 1:7-12)  And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven [Where is heaven?] with his mighty angels, In flaming fire [in “the brightness of his coming” 2 Thes 2:8 & Joel 2:1-11] taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2.       (Rom 8:18)  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory [Gk: glory (as very apparent): - dignity, honour, praise, worship] which shall be revealed in us

(2Th 2:5-12)  Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things [about the Holy Spirit]? And now ye know what withholdeth [“what is restraining” (NKJV). The Holy Spirit is restraining the evil Antichrist] that he [The Antichrist] might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity [Gk: lawlessness] [a trait epitomized by The Antichrist King Barack Hussein Obama] doth already work: only he who now letteth [“restrains” NKJV] will let [restrain], until he be taken out of the way [What happens when the Light (the illumination) is taken out of the way approaching midnight? Answer: the blindness of darkness increases]. And then shall that Wicked be revealed [the evil dwelling in the blinding darkness shall be gradually revealed while the glorious Light (illumination) shall be revealed in us suddenly, i.e., at sunrise, at dawn], whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him [The Antichrist], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion [“A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness” Joel 2:2, as the restraining Holy Spirit’s influence is withdrawn], that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness [the “cares and riches and pleasures of this life” Luke 8:14].

1.       (2 Co 4:4)  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds [so they cannot see the Truth] of them which believe not, lest the light [Gk: illumination] of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine [Gk: to beam forth /// radiate] unto them.

(2Th 2:13-17)  But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning [“from the foundation of the world (Gk: kosmos)” Mat 25:34] chosen you to salvation through sanctification [Gk: purification] of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory [“revealed in us” Rom 8:18] of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast [Gk: be stationary, persevere], and hold [Gk: to use strength, seize] the traditions [Gk: precepts] which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation [Gk: comfort] and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

1.       (James 4:7)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

a.      submit = Gk: to subordinate; obey: - be under obedience (obedient), put under, subdue unto, (be, make) subject (to, unto), be (put) in subjection (to, under), submit self unto.

b.      resist = Gk: to stand against, that is, oppose: - resist, withstand.

c.      persevere = Dict: to persist in anything undertaken; maintain a purpose in spite of the difficulty or obstacles; continue steadfastly.

2.       (Isa 28:9-13)  Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts [Heb 5:12-14]. For precept [Heb: commandment] must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line [Heb: a cord (as connecting) especially for measuring] upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips [unintelligible words] and another tongue [the tongue of the Lord: 1 Cor 12:10] will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken [by the evil one].

3.       (Mat 13:47-50)  Again, the kingdom of heaven [the word of the LORD] is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea [a biblical symbol of humanity], and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world [Gk: aion]: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire [“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD” Jer 23:29]: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
