(Mat 13:19)  When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one [the fowls, the fowls of the air, Satan, the devil], and catcheth away [harpazo: pluck, take (by force)] that which was sown in his heart [the thoughts or feelings (mind)]. This is he which received seed by the way side [road side].

1.       (1 Th 4:16,17)  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up [harpazo] together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

(Mat 13:23)  But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit [to be fertile], and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

1.       (Mat 13:23 Amplified Bible)  As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it; he indeed bears fruit and yields in one case a hundred times as much as was sown, in another sixty times as much, and in another thirty.

2.       (1 Ki 3:9,10)  Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.

3.       (Gen 2:15)  And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden [a garden (as fenced)] of Eden to dress it [abad; serve: husbandman, worship] and to keep it [shamar; to hedge about; guard, protect].

4.       (Prov 24:30-32)  I went by the field of the slothful [indolent: sluggard /// to lean idly, to be indolent or slack: be slothful], and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.

5.       (Prov 3:13-18) Happy [Blessed] is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

6.       (Prov 4:5-9)  Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee [shamar]: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

7.       (Oba 1:21)  And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau [i.e. flesh, natural man]; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.

Amen
