(Mat 13:33) Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took [the false church: Rev 17,18], and hid in three measures of meal [(to grind); flour], till the whole was leavened.

1.       leaven = Gk: ferment (as if boiling up). [yeast]

2.        (Mat 16:11,12) How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine [instruction: teaching] of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees [and the Herodians: Mark 8:15].

3.        (1 Cor 5:6-8) Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump [(to mix a liquid with a solid; through the idea of swelling in bulk), mean to knead; a mass of dough]? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are [truly] unleavened [(fig.) uncorrupted]. For even Christ our passover [was] is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [(fig.) uncorrupted] bread of sincerity and truth.

4.       The Lord will tarry His Second Coming until the whole is completely leavened. Whole what?

(1 Sam 17:28-30) And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause? And he turned from him toward another, and spake after the same manner: and the people answered him again after the former manner.

(1 Sam 17:31-37) And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him. And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth. And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered [rescued, saved] it out of his mouth [the lion]: and when he arose against me [the bear], I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them [a vicious wild animal], seeing he hath defied [blasphemed] the armies of the living God. David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw [hand] of the lion, and out of the paw [hand] of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand [hand] of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

1.        lion = Heb: (in the sense of violence); a lion: (young) lion, + pierce /// to pluck:--gather, pluck.

2.       (1 Pet 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

3.       bear = Heb: the bear (as slow): bear /// to move slowly, i.e. glide /// strength.

4.       defied = Heb: to pull off, i.e. (by impl.) to expose (as by stripping); spec. to betroth (as if a surrender); fig. to carp at, i.e. defame: betroth, blaspheme, defy, rail, reproach, upbraid.

THE BEAST, GOLIATH, IS FALSE DOCTRINE

(Rev 13:1-9) And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast [a dangerous animal: (venomous, wild) beast] rise up out of the sea [of humanity], having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy [vilification (espec. against God): evil speaking, railing]. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon [Satan] gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death [the Goliath head]; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth [lion] speaking great things and blasphemies; and power [bear] was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear.

THE WOMAN WHO HID LEAVEN IN THREE MEASURES OF MEAL,
WHO COVERED (HID) THE BEAST UNDER HER ROBES OF PURPLE AND SCARLET:
THE CHURCH UNIVERSAL, THE GREAT WHORE

(Rev 17:1-8) And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth [a teaching position: connotations of power and great authority: “and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority” Rev 13:2] upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk [intoxicated] with the wine of her fornication [porneia, por-ni'-ah; harlotry (includ. adultery and incest); fig. idolatry]. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns [Rev 13:1]. And the woman was arrayed in purple [regal - queenship] and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER [leaven: 1 Cor 5:6] OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her [to lift, fig. sustain], which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit [abyss], and go into perdition [damnation]: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

1.       whore = Gk: porne, por'-nay; (feminine); a strumpet; fig. an idolater: harlot, whore /// pornos, por'-nos; (to sell); a prostitute: fornicator, whoremonger.

2.       fornication = Gk: porneuo, porn-yoo'-o; to act the harlot, i.e. (lit.) indulge unlawful lust (of either sex), or (fig.) practice idolatry: commit (fornication).

(Rev 17:9-18) And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains [mountain, hill (Rome is called the city of seven hills)], on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition [damnation]. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful [believing]. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

1.       (Rev 17:1) “the great whore that sitteth upon many waters”

2.        (Rev 17:3) “and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast [a dangerous animal: (venomous, wild) beast]”

3.        (Rev 17:9) “The seven heads are seven mountains [kings], on which the woman sitteth”

4.        (Rev 17:15) “The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues”

  Amen
